Ravens Assesment

Butterflystar waited at the training clearing, she had seen ravenpaws batttle skills when her and Icepaw had battle training together.

Ravenpaw padded up a few minutes after, her footfalls quiet.

butterflystar kept scenting the wind and when ravenpaw was only a few feet way finally caught her scent "nice stalking" she purred "now come out" she said

Ravenpaw laughed softly and then walked up to Butterflystar. "I hadn't meant to stalk. I was just thinking. I guess I became quiet because of that."

"well keep thinking" she purred "today you hunt alone, unless its a cat from another clan don't pay attention to any other cats" she said getting up "hunt until sunhigh and meet me back at camp." she said and walked away towards camp.

"Okay." Ravenpaw called after her retreating form, and then turned her attention onto the air and smells around her.

After being still for a moment, Ravenpaw sniffed the air. It took a while, but she finally caught whiff of what smelled like mouse, to the right of her. With this in mind, she went off in that direction, trying her best to keep quiet.

butterflystar payed attention to the way the wind was going and stayed downwind from her. she turned around about a little bit after she left.

Ravenpaw finally caught sight of the mouse she had been tracking. Making sure her posture was correct, she quietly stalked the mouse until she was close enough, and then pounced. Ravenpaw managed to capture its tail underneath her paw and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. Proud with her kill, she buried it and then went to search for more.

butterflystar nodded in approved not far away.

Ravenpaw again came across another mouse. she did what she had done before, but this one she missed by a hairs length. "Mouse-brain!" she growled, and then went searching for another.

butterflystar understood the frustraition of missing her kill and continued to follow.

Ravenpaw soon managed to capture and kill a rabbit and another mouse, and carried them both to where she had buried the first mouse. stopping, she sniffed the air again trying to find another scent.

butterflystar followed her back to her other kills and looked up at the sky and thought ravenpaw will only have time for one more kill if she finds one soon.

A confused look showed on her face when she caught sight of a strange smell. Knowing she had to catch something though, she followed it. It wasn't soon until her nose led her to a strange hole dug into the ground. "What is this?" she asked herself, peering in.

butterflystar followed her not knowing what ravenpaw had caught the smell of.
