Faded Hope [Windclan Finale]

Batsong felt her wounds dripping blood and she coughed heavily the battle really starting to take a toll on her. She felt so tired and weak currently. She struggled to keep standing , she saw her mom fighting in the background and saw lion hit her hard… batsong felt sick seeing it , it made her feel so useless that she again was not able to save her mom… or herself it seemed that the even with starclan on their side they were doomed . A part of her wanted to give up to curl up into a ball and surrender to just lick her bleeding wounds and fall into a peaceful sleep…

But she couldn’t … not while she still had a chance however slim that chance now seemed, thinking back to her warriors cerokony she recalled how she vowed to give her life to this clan… she had said it with a stuttered shaking voice from nerves in front of the clan. She meant it though she had to keep going for her clan, for whisperpaw and her kit crowpaw… for mistysky.

She struck out as hard as she could even though she was exhausted pushing her body to the limit she clawed at frost throat …. She used windclans speed as she attacked and then bit into the same shoulder as earlier hoping to cause Maxime damage to the dark forest monster that tortured their clan for so many moons.

The thin veneer of sanity which had masked Raisha's crazy personality had completely dissolved now, and everyone could see what she was. Of course, Graybriar had already known. Hopefully the lapse back into insane screeching would lower the rogue's fighting capability, and she would be able to get in some more good blows. "If it was truly in the name of survival, then there was no need to murder any cat," the silver tabby said, twisting away from her opponent's fangs. "If it was truly in the name of survival, then why did you fail? Why are you dead? Why did you not live the rest of your life in the Clans that would have welcomed you, if you had simply chosen to be better?" She shook her head. "I will answer for you: you were afraid. You were afraid of being challenged, and so you simply killed those who were smarter than you, better than you, stronger than you. They went to their rest in the stars, and you went to the abyss of darkness for your crimes. And, that is where I will send you back." Lunging forward, Graybriar slashed at her opponent with unsheathed claws, finally shaking off the dizziness that had plagued her since the underhanded trick that Raisha had pulled.

Graybriar used Front Paw Strike + Desperate Blows, dealing 20 (10+6+2+2) damage and costing 14 (7+7) stamina.

Batsong panted heavily as her opponent ran away .... (idk lols) she felt so tired but knew there was still work to be done to free windclan She saw her mother nearby and could finally help her.

But Graybriar looked even more in trouble and getting revenge on Raisha sounded not so bad at alll... she would make Raisha pay for what she did to her mothers Mistysky and swiftspirit.

Running at Raisha she growled in anger.

"Y-you p-..pay for what you d-id..did to my family she stuttered exhausted.  She just wanted to curl up and take a nap and lick her sore wounds... but right now she had to protect her clan and snapping at Raisha for what she did was a fulfilling revenge that was long overdue

Maplespring's green gaze watched on in horror at what has happening in camp. Her young mind had little time to process everything, but she did know she had one thing to do... fight.

Paws scattered in fury as she charged into battle, seeing the shadowy frame of a dark forest cat. The sight of Mistysky brought her the strength she needed, and her claws outstretched to strike. The panic of the situation clawed at her frame, and they were sent in a flurry into the tom's side. She didn't know exactly where her claws were striking... just that she needed to. For her Clan. For those she cared about.

Maplespring used Front Paw Strike and Desperate Blows! She dealt 13 (8+5) damage, and spent 14 stamina.

Scorchtalon had been waiting for this moment ever since he'd first glimpsed the foul, rotting pelts of the Dark Forest warriors at that fateful gathering all those moons ago. Though he tried to remain optimistic for the sake of his clan, he despised being forced to live under the rule of those cruel cats, waiting for the day he could sink his claws into them. It seemed like that day had come. With the passing of Specklepaw and Sagepaw, and the rise of Starclan, the time for revenge had arrived. Though he wanted to grieve for the two promising young lives that had been lost, there would be time for that later, when the Dark Forest scum was driven out of his home once and for all. Leaping into the fray beside Maplespring, he hurled himself at Lionfur without thinking twice. He rammed his head into the enemy warrior's side, hoping to knock the breath out of him.

Mistysky hissed as Lionfur launched at her. "Do you think this Clan needs your rule? We were doing just fine without you."

She lashed out at the dark forest cat, clamping her jaws around his neck. That oughta shut him up.

Lionfur snarled as he was suddenly ganged up on by several more cats. Why did this always happen to him... why did no one like him? All he had ever done was his best for WindClan. He loved his Clan. Why could they never see that? He lashed out at the starry she-cat in front of him, forcing her jaws away from his neck. The reminder of how he had died... his vision was getting blurry. "Hypocrites," he hissed, sounding strangled from the sudden pressure that had been around his windpipe. Why were his blows getting weaker? Why were the stars shining brighter? Why were they always against him?

Lionfur used Front Paw Strike on Mistysky, dealing 10 damage and costing 7 stamina.

Finally, all the fighting had tired out her opponent. Graybriar let out an exhausted huff, looking down at the shadowy form below her. Raisha... you could have been a good cat. However, there is no point in mulling over what could have been. There is only the here, and the now. Justice for those you have killed... and safety for my Clan. Still, there was a light tinge of sorrow in her starry sky-blue eyes as she bent down over her enemy. "Goodbye, Tawnyflare," she whispered, before sinking her corporeal teeth into Raisha's bloody throat. She did not relish the action, but it was what had to be done. No one would ever be terrorized by the Asylum's monster again.

Graybriar used Killing Blow on Raisha. Raisha is dead.

Maplespring watched as her old mentor continued to do her best to fight back, joined at her side by another Windclan warrior. She didn't immediately recognized the tom, but... any help they could get would be all they needed. The promise of victory bristled beneath her fur as she launched her claws yet again, desperately hoping to fight back the intruders of their home.

Scorchtalon could tell that their opponent was weakening, and it only fueled his rage. Immediately after Maplespring struck, he darteed forward to snap at Lionfur's tail, hoping the endless barrage would expedite the Dark Forest warrior's surrender.

Batsong watched as the starclan cat finished off Raisha... She stared as Raisha died... Raisha had killed both of Batsongs mothers and now the monster was finally gone turned to dust.

She shook herself back to the present.  She saw Mistysky and rushed to her side. Her pelt was all stary and Batsong was so happy to get to see her agian. "Mom... I m-m..missed you so much" she stuttered her voice cracking with sorrow.

She glared at the final remaining df cat who her mother had been fighting for awhile now.


She charged at the dark forest cat and with and went for the weakest spot she could

It worked perfectly and her claws found the target with ease as she went crazy clawing up the soft target up above with rapid strikes tearing into the enemy that had hurt her mother.  She did not stop causing lots of damage.  She knew that lionfur was done for.

Batsong hugged Mistysky tears running down her face. "m-m..mom I dont want you to go n-not again" she said quietly. She saw her kit, Crowpaw in the background and pointed her tail for Mistysky to see ... "t-thats Crowpaw" she said quietly


the apprentice looked just like Batsong, almost an exact copy, just that crowpaw as a smaller version of her for now since she wasnt fully grown.


Batsong gave a small sad smile to Mistysky
"th-thanks so much... for what you have d-done for me... for all of us" she said quietly looking her adoptive mother in the eyes for what she knew might be the last time ever .

Maplespring let out a final hiss of rage towards the dark forest tom as he was sent back to the abyss. "Carrion!" She taunted. Huffing, the she-cat's attention was caught once more by her mentor. Tears instantly welled in her eyes at the words she spoke, her head dipping with gratitude as the nose was placed upon her forehead. It was a closure she never knew she needed. It was heartwarming to see her interact with Batsong - to once again see the loving mentor that she knew.

The mother she never realized Mistysky was to Maplespring herself, until she saw it before her.

The golden molly couldn't help but bow deeply towards the starry warrior. "You have done so much for me... For all of us." She spoke, a genuine tone being the only note carried in her words. "You deserve your place among the stars. Please, rest well." She found herself getting choked up on the words - but it was true. Her mentor had given so much for Windclan, the peace of the restful stars was more than well earned by Mistysky.
