Spiderbite hissed as the sky lit up once more.

“You soft padded cowards! You will never see a star again!”

The she-cat snarled, her teeth bared, ready to tear a cat limb from limb.

“Tag-team? Hardly noble of you…”

The tendrils around her form lashed like her tail. If these idiot WindClan cats wanted a fight, they would get one.

Spiderbite of the Dark Forest is open for a fight!

Raisha was occupied for the moment, but there were other dark forest cats. As much as Brackenwing wanted to avenge her mother's and Mistysky's death, the other needed to be dealt with too. Young warrior she might be, but she wasn't going to sit idle while her clanmates fought for their lives.

"And who are you to speak of being noble?" Brackenwing sneered, upon hearing Spiderbite's words. Without another word, the marbled tabby lunged for her with unsheathed claws.

Blazepaw’s brain snapped into fight mode. “All right, come at me, beasts!”

Fallowpaw’s ears twitched as Blazepaw and Ryepaw both called him a coward and he stopped dead in his tracks. ”What?” He spat, spinning round with a lash of his tail, his fur beginning to stand on end. A warrior should know when to pick their battles-- every cat with any shred of sense knows that, and he knew what Raisha was capable of. If Blazepaw and Ryepaw wanted to get torn to bloody bits over their own sense of personal pride, then Fallowpaw couldn’t give a rabbit’s foot, but accusing him of being a coward for being smart enough to not jump into every fox’s den was one whisker over the line.
”Say that again to my face you--” He was cut off when Brackenwing pushed her way between them. The tom shot his littermate a burning glare and held back the sharp words that prickled in the back of his throat. If any cat would’ve understood him, he thought it would be Brackenwing.
Before he had any real time to react any further, outcries rose up around the camp. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Sagepaw and Specklepaw drop to the ground. “Sagepaw, what…”
Then, in a swirl of stars, the ghostly forms of two cats rose, and with a cry, they flung themselves at the Dark Forest invaders. StarClan had returned! His clanmates followed their lead and began to strike back against their tormentors. So many questions crashed together in his head it was almost enough to make him dizzy, but Fallowpaw shook his head hard before dipping into his practiced stance for battle. All of this could wait till later. He scanned the camp for a target, his claws itching to dig into something.

Frostthroat had been watching Raisha rile up the WindClanners yet again, eyes filled with a barely contained contempt. The moorrunners were just as proud as ever it seemed. How many more cats had to be felled by dark claws before they learned their lesson? His thoughts were cut short when some cry rose above the camp. The stars were back?!
“What?” He hissed, snapping his head back to see it for himself. His eyes widened in shock and a furious screech ripped from his bleeding throat. Stars. Stars!
The screeching of battle hit his ears and he curled his lips back in a snarl as the ghostly forms of StarClan began leading the charge against them. He narrowed his eyes and unsheathed his claws as he launched himself forward into the fray. “I’ll rip every single star from the sky before I’m driven out!”

Batsong growled at the dark forest cats as the stars came back all around her cats were locked in combat to take their clan back... she desperatly tried to find where whisperpaw was... not able to find them she pushed and shoved through the crowd until she came face to face with Frosttroat.

Hissing and arching her back she challanged the brute. ... Bring it on!

She launched herself at the evil cat and with all her might dragged her claws across the monsters face.  This dark forest cat was responsible for so much of her clans suffering and now it was time for payment!

As the other WindClan cats spread out across camp, readying to fight the other Dark Forest cats, Graybriar kept her focus on her target. The Asylum had attacked very soon after she passed away... and she had been forced to watch, unable to help, as her family members were killed by rogues such as the very one beneath her claws right now. Barleytuft, my beloved... forgive me. It was my turn to sacrifice myself. Just know, that in my second death, I avenge your life. Taking advantage of the stun, the starry tabby clawed Raisha's shoulder, drawing blood with a sharp blow. So they were still alive enough to bleed... that meant they were alive enough to die.

Lionfur let out a hiss as the apprentice's claws dug into him once more. And still the little piece of crowfood had the gall to talk back to him? After his offers of friendship? "No, an apprentice would be smart enough to realize who their real friends are," he meowed lowly, threateningly. "Now I have no choice but to end your puny life." Rage burning in his eyes, feeling the darkness begin to take over once more at yet another betrayal, the golden tom's claws lashed out, slashing the apprentice's throat-- but not killing him. Barely. Instead, a clean, shallow wound opened, beginning to bleed stark red on Whisperpaw's faded white fur. He would kill this apprentice... but not immediately. They needed to feel fear. To feel the consequences of turning against Lionstar.

It was easy, of course. Whisperpaw was as easy to fight as a ball of moss, especially compared to Smokepelt. Lesser cats would have felt guilty... not Lionfur. If this apprentice wanted to betray him, as the stars had, and as Ashstar had, then they would pay the price. They would all pay the price. With an almost casual blow, Lionfur knocked aside the apprentice's desperate last-ditch attempt and slashed them across the shoulder. Now... claws or fangs? It would probably be better to bite out Whisperpaw's throat, like they had done to that measly leader so many moons ago. He would kill any cat he had to in order to stay in WindClan. Besides, if he leaned down, then he could meet the eyes of the cat who had betrayed him one last time. "They all betray me in the end. We could have been friends, but this was your choice," he reminded the white-furred cat, baring his sharp fangs as he bent down towards the throat...

All of a sudden, a flash of red fur seemed to materialize by Lionfur and Whisperpaw. “Leave them alone, you monster!” Blazepaw yowled, slapping the Dark Forest cat across the face with a paw.

BAtsong saw to her horror that her Whisperpaw had just been knocked out by the evil dark forest cat Lion. She growled in rage but was currently unable to help whisperpaw. She was stuck dealing with frostthroat.

She watched helplessly as her kit was slashed on their shoulder and neck

"...noooo" she whimpered watching whisper fall to the ground... she had lost too much and she wouldnt lose whisper too. She tried to get to them but was already locked in combat with frostthroat...


"h--...hold on whisper im co-coming for you!" she stuttered in a pleading voice... it seemed any cat she got to know or form any sort of attachment to died... she wouldnt let that happen to whisperpaw not while she could still stand and fight to prevent it.

Another apprentice? Would these mouse-brains never learn? Annoyed, Lionfur simply smacked the screaming ball of fluff out of his face, claws raking through fur without a second thought. "You can die next, if you're so eager," he snarled, blood-red eyes gleaming dangerously. "All you do is yell. Why not let the big cats fight, and stay out of matters your brain is too small to understand? Wait your turn, kit." Why did Raisha get to fight those starry fox-hearts, and he was piled on by hare-brained apprentices? Irritation made his ears pin back. He turned once more to the prone Whisperpaw, ignoring the other fool who was trying to challenge him.

A pair of paws connected with Frostthroat’s head and claws raked across his muzzle before he even knew what had hit him. The white tom let out a furious yowl and reared back, shaking his head as he rounded on his attacker. He growled at the warrior that had dared to confront him-- and was now distracted by another fight happening nearby.
”Fool,” he hissed at Batsong, curling his lip back to reveal sharp fangs. ”You should learn to keep your eyes on your own opponent!” Sneering, he leapt forward, fangs flashing as he dug them into Batsong’s fur, biting down as hard as he could until blood entered into his mouth.

Batsong screamed a bit as sharp fangs dug into her.  It hurt alot.

She tried to see if whiserpaw was safe but couldnt... "Whisperpaw" she whimpered in pain trying to call out to them.  It was no use.  She couldnt get to them no matter how hard she tried and now she had her own problem as well to deal with as Frosttroat so "helpfully" reminded her.

Hissing she somehow got free of his claws and raised her back hair in anger and attacking style.

"I w--w...willl s-ss...send you b..back to whatever d...-d..deapths you crawled from  she said with her usual heavy stutter that she had since kithood.

She didnt mind having a stutter any more and had gotten used to it  

(But frostthroat is more than welcome to poke fun at her for it XD lols)

She knew if she wanted to stand a chance she would need to play this risky... all that was currently on her mind was trying to get to whisperpaw and making sure they were okay.... she would not lose them.

She was more worried about that than her own saftey... So this combined with the fact she knew that she would have to take risks in this battle to even stand a chance led her to doing something she normally wouldn't do... She saw the smallest of openings to try it and without hesitation or second thought she went for it.... This was a bad idea a really bad idea but what other choice was there? She would lose a slugfest with her much stronger opponent... she had to go big or go home.


She tried to slide under frostthraot to go for his weaker underbelly target.

It failed miserably and she ended up landing right next to his front paws... she winced as he got several easy smacks on her as she tried to scurry away. owww that hurt alot. She panted as she managed to barely escape but he had already gotten to land alot of easy strikes on her and she could feel the wounds sting. She glanced around and saw her clanmates were having about equal or worse luck than hers... She let doubt enter her mind and her face became a bit downcast... They were losing this and she couldnt save her clan right now... she had failed whisperpaw... she had failed herself, her kit and now her entire clan seemed to be getting the stuffing beaten out of them...
