The Ice coating the Willow tree

Icepaw return to his mentor and gleaned around the clearing once again. There seemed to be no prey to be found. All the scents smelled like they passed at last leaf-green. He wanted to fight instead, although he had hunted only a tiny fresh-kill. "Can we practice fighting?" He asked, slightly annoyed.

Icepaw flicked his tail, annoyed. The snow was starting to make him go insane, perhaps he needed something else to see than just a white layer of coldness. He unsheathed his claws, glancing around to see if anything could be used as target practice. The apprentice's gaze rested upon a big rock. He gritted his teeth and pounced towards it, lashing out and sliced the rock neatly. Perhaps hunting was hard, but attacking and fighting was much easier. Six claw marks was on the rock now.Willowwhisker must be impressed! He turned around and wondered if his mentor was happy about his fighting skills.

"Ohhhhh" And with that, he leapt onto Willowhwhisker and batted her hard with sheathed paws. "Like that?"

Falling onto the ground, Willowwhisker let out a laugh, the apprentice had pulled a good one on her."Yes, just like that. Alright, next, you need to learn how to use a pretty powerful attack. Icepaw almost fell over from laughter, knowing his mentor was expecting kits soon. After he had calmed down, he decided to try the move she had mention. He crouched on the ground, jumping up and raking at his imaginary opponent. His claws sliced through the soft belly flesh of his imaginary enemy. He glanced towards Willowwhisker, wondering if he had done it correctly.

"Fine. I will try." Icepaw groaned. Hunting was hard work and he hated it. The prey seemed to run away every time he neared it. Just a rabbit, that's all! He thought. Raising his nose into the air, he scented an rabbit nearby. An surge of energy raised him to his paws and soon found himself stalking the rabbit. Then it all happened like an ShadowClan cat running away. He lunged forward and swiped at the prey with unsheathed claws, when suddenly a bird squawked loudly. It had alerted the rabbit and surprised himself, and he paused in mid-air. The rabbit ran away. I failed.
