Brownkit is on the border between Starclan and the Darkforest[Darkforest and Starclan cats welcome]

"Happy, you do know you've had littermates." Ebonyroot asked, calmly ignoring the other's conflicts to add her own. "Don't you care about them?"

Happy was uneased by the question. "Wh- what!? Of course I do!" he said, hopping to all four paws. What was wrong? Did he not act brotherly enough to his sister? Or was it because he never budged when his mother drowned Inkkit?

"Do you think your mother cares about them?" Ebonyroot pressed on.

"scarletfire" rosethorn hissed "how dare you bring your own kit into the problem you have been fighting" her fur staring to rise slightly.

Happy suddenly jerked from that image. "Of course she does! Violet and I are really happy as we are! Mama takes great care of us!" Happy cried.

"Just like she took care of Inkkit?" Ebonyroot meowed crossly, flicking her tail in greeting to Rosethorn, but staying on point. "She never loved Ink. That's why she killed him. She doesn't love Violet. She's practically starving you as it is! A loving mother would never treat her kits this way."

Brownkit padded up to Scarletfire and mewed"my name is Brownkit.....i heard stories about the dark forest is it true about...the stories they tell.?"Brownkit asked.

Nightclaw stiffened when he saw Scarlet "Hello, Scarletfire"

Rosethorn let her fur drop but still payed attention to scarlet fire as she padded over to brown kits side "yes, and you now know what can happen if you join them" she said more calmly

Happy let himself quiver. "Stop it! Stop it right now! Inkkit was a bad sibling! He didn't listen! He's stupid, stupid, stupid!" he hissed angrily, digging his claws into the ground.

Scarlet ignored her son's loud tone. "I suppose so, yes. I've heard many exciting stories about the Dark Forest," she said. She looked up. "Oh, and hello, Nightclaw," she sneered.

"A mother would never murder her own kit in cold blood." Ebonyroot repeated firmly, "No matter what they did. She didn't love Inkkit and she doesn't love you."

Brownkit looked at Scarletfire"what do you have to do to join the dark forest?"

"Brownkit are you insane?!" Hissed Sunnykit, "I can't belive you, even if you ARE ThunderClan, I'm waking up!"

Scarlet looked down at the kit. "Brownkit, let me ask you something. Do you like honor? Not being pushed around? That is what being a Dark Forest cat is about. Not letting cats step all over you; not leaving you in the dust," she said.

Happy just ignored Ebonyroot and backed away behind his mother, cowering.

ooc;; And Yellowfang considered it the hardest thing she ever had to do. Evar. And I commend her to that. cx But seriously, even if you look past warriors, the relationship between mother and child is unbreaking.

Ebonyroot flicked her gaze away from Happy. Life with Scarletfire was all he knew, she couldn't force him to find the right path, she could only offer him words and him he found it himself.
He flicked her ear, catching Scarletfire words. "Oh, please, Scarlet." Ebonyroot spat. Honorable? That's laughable! The Dark Forest was meant for the least honorable place in existance! If you're going to lie to little Brownkit, at least make the lies good!"
She shook her head, "Brownkit. Scarlet is a former warrior of ShadowClan, Scarletfire, and the entire forest considers her a disgrace. She was banished from the Clans for killing her own kit for little reason and being nothing but a bother to Shadowstar.
"StarClan, however, can offer you a happy life with those who love and support you. Even cats who refused to be "pushed around" still served their clan loyally and live now in paradise." She sniffed. Honestly, Sleepystar, the cat who took over half the forest, had found his way to StarClan. Scarlet might of as well, if she grabbed her right mind back and repented, giving her life back to the clan. "Scarletfire was nothing to ShadowClan but a waste of space and prey, thanks to the place of no stars."
