Madness Spreads Like Disease

Ghosthaze smiled. "Sure you will bub. Now do me a favor and get out of here. You've tormented enough this fine topic morning."

He laughed again. It rang throughout the forest. "Do you really think I'll be gone for long?" he seemed to walk and faded away as he stepped on Sleepyyawn's head. His green eyes were wide and haunted and he was shaking badly.

Ghosthaze went beside Sleepyyawn. "It's okay now. You're going to be okay." she purred softly. "Just calm down."

"T-t-the f-forest..." he said shakily.

"Shhhh." Ghosthaze said firmly. Her tail going over his mouth. "No talking. Breathe easy."

Sleepyyawn's breathing slowed when it stopped completely. His tail twitched before falling down.

Ghosthaze's eyes widened. "Don't die on me!" she yowled. She pushed down on his diaphragm with a paw. "C'mon Sleepyyawn..."

Sleepyyawn didn't move. His eyes started to close when they shot back open. He outstretched a shaking paw towards Ghosthaze.

"That's it!" Ghosthaze exclaimed happily. She stopped pushing on his stomach. "Breathe."

A laugh erupted from Sleepyyawn. His head bent back.
"I've found your weak spot."
With that he raked dangerously sharp claws across her stomach.

Ghosthaze winced. She saw the blood oozing from her stomach. "No..." her eyes widened for a second before closing, her body fell to the ground with a soft thud.

Sleepyyawn's voice was retained and he gave out a loud shreik. He looked from Ghosthaze to his claws. Tears welled up in his eyes. He was mad. He quickly scrambled to his paws. "Ghosthaze!" he cried.

Ghosthaze's body was limb. Her stomach moved up and down softly but you could tell if she didn't get help soon the kits and possibly herself would die.

Sleepyyawn looked around. A vague memory came to him. It was of Bluestar and Mistyriver when he was a kit. He had actually held a small interest in herbs back then. But he didn't know what to do...

He then got a sudden jolt. He picked what he thought was Goldenrod. He chewed the poultice and applied it to the wound on her stomach. He looked at a plant. It was strangely familiar. Aloe Vera. He picked it and mixed it with the Goldenrod and looked around, slipping a final herb that he hoped would help. He ripped a cob web off and laid it over her wound. He then bowed his head and prayed she would be all right.

OOC: I honestly have no idea what any of those herbs were for.

OOC: It's better than killing my cats XD

IC: Ghosthaze's breathing started to get better. Her chest rose up and down. You could see a few times where it was uneven from the kicking of her kits.
