Sunpaw sat by the fresh-kill pile, her pale green gaze burning as she waited. Her ears flicked every so often, the only part of her that moved, save for her flanks as they rose and fell with each breath. She was waiting for a very particular cat. He'd have to come by eventually. He was always on patrol, but at some point, he'd have to stop by with some stupidly impressive catch or whatever. Her eyes narrowed as that very particular cat finally padded into camp, and her ears pinned back against her head.
Leopardwind.
"Hey, bozo!" Sunpaw called out. She puffed her chest out in an attempt to look intimidating as he approached. "Heard you've been talkin' to my sister." Something in her pose resembled that of a stern warrior waiting for an apprentice who'd stayed out too late - as though she had any authority over the tom. She wasn't quite furious... but she certainly wasn't happy. If he thinks he can just flirt with Cloudjumper and play games with her heart, he's got another thing coming. Moonpaw was a good gossip partner, it turned out. She reported them spending more time together, and, well, the sisters had spun quite the story together from there.

Leopardwind had just returned from a long patrol, a weariness in his step as he dragged his catch to the fresh-kill pile. He wasn't planning to complain much or take a break, but he was willing to admit that this particular hare had been much faster than usual, and had taken him across almost a quater of the moor before he caught it. Whatever, it was a huge hare, and easily worth the effort. He just hoped his clanmates would appreciate it.
The warrior's eyes narrowed as he neared the fresh-kill pile. An apprentice-- Sunpaw, wasn't it?-- was already there, her posture resembling that of a warrior that had a couple things to say. She looked half-angry-- had a fight with a denmate, he supposed? Leopardwind's ear flicked when she called out to him-- yes, him, though he disliked the name she chose to address him with-- and his mood soured even further. Been talking to her sister? Oh, that's right. Sunpaw was Cloudjumper's sister.
What in the name of StarClan was the tortoiseshell angry about, anyway? Of course he spoke to Cloudjumper, what else was he meant to do when put on patrols with the she-cat? Convey his plan to catch the rabbit through whisker twitches? Leopardwind tried not to let his irritation show as he replied calmly, "Yes, I have, as I am speaking to you now as well."
