Webkit Swimming through the Milky Way I wanna break away and take the leap Since we’re falling anyway No moon to rise would be okay with me

Webkit had been mostly confined to the medicine cat's den since a little before she was likely supposed to be made an apprentice, not that it mattered too much to her. The little silver tabby could care less where they wanted her to be, and would often pull vanishing acts despite being ordered to bed rest. Today was one such day. She walked purposefully towards new recently discovered favorite spot, a shaded area near the back of the camp's bramble walls in a little hollow. It was much quieter there, and she was able to avoid the constant clamor of the other cats in camp. They were all so noisy sometimes.
Webkit settled into the little hollow, resting her chin on her paws and staring blankly at the rest of the camp as they wandered around doing their duties. This was fine. She liked this. They couldn't see her, but she could see them. She much preferred not being stared at constantly.

Briarpatch had sat vigil the day before, but she wasn't tired. Well, that was a lie actually. She was tired, yes, but she was still buzzing with excitement from her ceremony even now and didn't feel like going to her nest just yet. Her new nest, not the old one in the apprentice's den.
Rather than sleep, she'd chosen to seek out her siblings. Webkit wasn't in the medicine den, not unusual for her, and with her target now acquired, Briarpatch had set out to look for her. She hadn't left camp, she would have noticed that, she was sure. But where had her sister gone? Not far, surely.
A spot near the back of the camp looked promising... And Briarpatch couldn't help but grin at finding her sister. "Hey, Web!" The tortoiseshell-tabby mewed softly. Briarpatch refused to call her sister 'kit.' Because she wasn't one. Sure, she hadn't had her apprentice ceremony on account of being sick and all... But she wasn't a kit. Calling her that when they were the same age simply felt wrong to her. So Web it was.
"Whatcha doing in a corner? Got sick of the herbs?" Her sister wasn't the most social cat, but she was her sister. Briarpatch would be in the dark forest if she didn't try to keep up with her family more than she did. "How are you feeling?"

Cue being stared at.
Briarpatch approached with a friendly call of her name, only to be met in return with Webkit's perpetually blank stare. However, she did manage a flick of her tail in greeting. No one could say she wasn't trying.
Well, maybe they could.
She didn't mind Briarpatch being there. Though at the mention of herbs, the little silver tabby's nose wrinkled up a bit. She'd been fed far too many of those recently. Plant bad. Not a fan. Webkit didn't lift her chin from her paws, and eventually looked away from Briar to continue vacantly staring at the cats lingering near the fresh-kill pile. Webkit hadn't wrapped her head around how they all interacted yet, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to. There was too much to process. Eating moss sounded more appealing, but watching them wasn't bad. It was a lot like watching bugs.

The reponse from her sister was a simple flick of the tail, and Briarpatch laughed quietly. It could have been rude if it were another cat, but this was Web. This was her sister.
Her face wrinkled at the mention of the herbs, and Briarpatch couldn't help but feel sympathy. "I had to take the traveling herbs to go to the moonstone recently... Awful stuff. Sorry Nightpaw's been shoving stuff like that foxdung down your throat, sis." If whatever herbs she had been given were half as bad as the traveling herbs... No, Briarpatch did not envy her at all.
"You're up and about though, that's good!" It had been hard to watch her be stuck in the medicine den for so long, but if she was out here that meant she was recovering, right? Web certainly looked better than she had at the height of her illness, that was for sure.

SMOKEYTIMBER "i'll hum the song the soldiers sing . . . " he/him- t2 shadowclan warrior
Smokeytimber was just about to lead a search party out to find Webkit when he finally spotted Briarpatch's familiar pelt, talking to... a shadow? No. Webkit?! He'd set forth to bring her a mouse when he'd poked into the medicine den to find one very, very confused Nightpaw - and no Webkit. I'll find her, he'd assured the tom, and that he had.
Well, Briarpatch had found her first. The large grey-and-white tom hurried over to the pair, a juicy mouse dangling from his jaws. The scent made his stomach growl, but Webkit needed it more than he did. He could always catch another.
Smokeytimber set the prey down next to Webkit's little hidey-hole, then smiled a bit awkwardly. "Hey, you guys. How are you managing, Webs? Thought you'd snuck out or something when I couldn't find you with Nightpaw." The nickname felt odd on his tongue. He didn't use nicknames, but he was in the same position as Briarpatch. How odd to call a full-grown molly a kit. "I... brought you a mouse. Thought it'd help get the taste of herbs out of your mouth." Smokeytimber explained, then shuffled a bit awkwardly. This was weird. Webkit seemed kinda down after so long in the nursery (and the medicine den). And it was especially weird for them to all reunite like this without Cardinalpaw.
