Foliage is power [Open ThunderClan Herb Hunt!]

The sun shone brightly through the trees, dappling the forest floor with a golden glow. She hadn't seen ThunderClan territory in Greenleaf before. It certainly was everything Stormsong said it would be. Of course, the she-cat wanted to dive into the river and cool off. But there was too much Sleepycloud needed to do to get the Medicine Cat den back into working order. With the time she had spent at the moonstone lately, StarClan had taught her a lot about how to identify herbs and their uses, how to run the den, and how to help her Clanmates.

Stars, she just hoped she could live up to their expectations.

The group of cats gathered around her, and Sleepycloud nodded toward the large clearing before them. "I haven't searched this space for herbs yet. But, remember the herbs I showed you back at camp?" She had taken them into her den and shown them the herbs to watch for that Sleepycloud knew were in the area. "Keep an eye out for those. If you can't recall if a plant is one that I've shown you, please call me over. Don't eat anything." With a flick of her tail, she dispersed the group, heading for a patch of promising bushes.

Stinging Nettle. Not bad. She broke off the stem of a few with a nearby leaf to avoid the stinging hairs on them. Not willing to risk it, she carried the bundle to a nearby puddle and washed the herbs clean of their stinging hairs. Satisfied, the apprentice dropped the bundle in the middle of the clearing for the others to know where to put their findings.
