The clouds were thick in the sky, but no hint of rain was sensed. Weevilpaw had been entertaining herself when her attention was drawn away from the little bug at her feet. Her sister had walked by and seemed to be heading towards the entrance of camp. “Wait for me!” she cried out as she stumbled forward into the ground as she tried to get her feet under her.
It didn’t take long for Weevilpaw to get to her feet now days and she was at Creampaw’s side in no time. “Where are ya headed, Creampaw? A look of disgust crossed the cream-and-white tabby's face as Weevilpaw rushed up to her. If only her adopted sister was still in the nursery with Rainkit and Bugkit. How Rapidfire even decided that such a clumsy and mousebrained cat could be made an apprentice, she had no idea. Using a single paw, Creampaw gently pushed the other apprentice some distance away from her. Several insults sprung to her tongue immediately, her heart flaring with unreasonable rage as she yet again prepared to snap at her sister. But something in her clicked in time. She was getting bored, wasn't she? That's why she wanted to leave Camp. But wouldn't it be so much more fun if she could torment Weevilpaw while they were out? A smile that held not one bit of good intention bloomed across Creampaw's face, and it was with a purr that she agreed to Weevilpaw's offer. Finally, something to cure her boredom.

Weevilpaw glanced from her sister to the ground a few times. Creampaw hadn’t given her a response really but that was no big deal, maybe her sister wasn’t in a talking mood. “Well, um, if we want to get any hunting done, we better head out!” She purred with a smile and then pranced out of camp.
She made her way out into the tall grass of Windclan and took in the scents around her. Weevilpaw still wasn’t very good at telling where the scents were coming from, but she knew she would catch on one day. There was a hint of what she thought was rabbit on the air and Weevilpaw dropped down into a crouch working her way in the direction she though the scent was coming from.
The smell of blood hit Weevilpaw’s nose and she spotted a dead rabbit lying in the grass. Her fur stood on end as her eyes darted around for any signs of what killed the rabbit. She inched closer to the rabbit and gave it a few sniffs. There was a musky scent clinging to the air around it. Before she could call out to Creampaw a sharp pain shot through her back leg causing her to jump into the air. Her yowl could be heard all the way back into camp.
Weevilpaw’s feet hit the ground but not all at once which caused her to fumble through the grass. The weasel that had bitten her was still holding on for its life. “CREAMPAW HELP ME!!!!” She cried as she tried to get her feet back underneath her.
Weasel used Gripping Bite on Weevilpaw for -5 HP and -15 EP

Weevilpaw's cheerfulness was annoying at this time of day. No, that wasn't fair; it was always annoying, regardless of the time of day. Creampaw flicked her tail irritably but followed anyway. As soon as she could, she darted away in search of prey, leaving Weevilpaw to fumble about as she always did. She was quick to find a rabbit of her own to pursue, and would have caught it, if it were not for the shrill cry that split through the air at just the wrong moment. The rabbit jumped up, startled, and quickly darted away, leaving Creampaw, a perfectly good hunter, empty-pawed.
The tabby whirled around, the beginning of a tantrum curling into her snarl as she burst towards where Weevilpaw was. That insolent creature had ruined her hunt! As she came to find the pitiful sight that was her adopted sister fighting a weasel, Creampaw couldn't help the burst of laughter that escaped her. To say Weevilpaw was fighting was, well, not exactly true. The she-cat seemed to just lay there, struggling to even stand. After just one bite? Was Weevilpaw really that useless? And she was screaming for help, too. From Creampaw. Well, wasn't this something.
Putting on a smile that was in no way kind, she cooed from where she was, hidden from the weasel by the tall grass, "Weevilpaw, dear, haven't you been taught how to fight? It's just a weasel, surely you can defeat it without my help? If you kill it, you can even bring it home and say you actually caught something, you know?"

Weevilpaw was still struggling against the weasel that had ahold of her leg. Her legs kicked with claws out and managed to catch hold of the predator’s long body. The weasel remained latched to the young apprentice’s leg and seemed to tighten its grip.
Her ears flickered as Creampaw’s words rang through her head. Weevilpaw had sparred a few times, but she never won. Tears started to form in her eyes, but she was determined to prove herself to her younger sister and forced the urge to cry down.
Weevilpaw used Belly Rake on the Weasel for -10 HP and -10 EP

The weasel remained attached to Weevilpaw’s leg until her claws were no longer scratching at its long torso. Quickly and swiftly the weasel flipped itself into the nearby grass and started dancing around the apprentice ready for its next attack.

Pathetic. Weevilpaw stayed on the ground, thrashing like a fish out of water. Creampaw stayed where she was, an unreadable expression on her face. Her claws itched-- she could kill the weasel now, while it was on top of her sister, while it was distracted and its spine was exposed to her without any obsticle blocking her claws from just plunging into its flesh. But she didn't want to. The cream tabby's tail lashed as she watched the weasel's fangs sink deeper into the apprentice's skin. "Go on," She called out, "Kill it. You can kill it, can't you? Whatever would Rapidfire say if you can't even kill a weasel on your own? Were you even meant to be a warrior, kittypet?" Her voice turned into a sneer, the last word spat out with venom she didn't know she had. How strange. How very strange indeed.

Weevilpaw’s head snapped over to where Creampaw was sitting. Did her sister just call her a kittypet? She turned her attention back to the weasel and clamped her teeth around it’s body. Yanking it off her leg.
Weevilpaw used bite and hold on the weasel for -6 HP and -15 EP

The weasel let out a squeak as the cat’s sharp teeth pierced its body. It wiggled and writhed until it broke out of her grasp then danced off into the grass away from the two apprentices.
Weasel has left the fight
