Rapidfire hopped up the tallrock with a leap and bound, she was getting so much more used to things now and this was her favorite time to get to bring the clan together, they had so many apprentices lately something she was very grateful for.
"Windclan, please gather round for a clan meeting!"

Moonkit stumbled from the nursery with a massive yawn and blinked sleep from her eyes, groggy from a long nap. She'd slept more that morning than she had in the moons, probably, and only woke at Rapidfire's call. It wasn't exactly the best wake-up call she could have hoped for, but at least it wasn't one of the other kits trampling her this time. As the clan gathered, she stopped, reached up to rub her eyes with a paw, and huffed. It was another ceremony, no doubt.
Hopefully not hers this time - she was truly enjoying her time in the nursery and, honestly, wouldn't mind staying there forever. Regardless, if it was one of her littermates' ceremonies, she had to be there. With a disinterested stretch, Moonkit made her way to the edge of the gathered cats and plopped herself down with a heavy grunt, wispy tail curled loosely around her.

Rapidfire looked curiously at the sleepy kitten as she rubbed her eyes and plopped down. The kitten looked sleepy and tired. She wondered if Hemlockfox could find out cure if they had traveling herbs for the kit to get more used to the training they would have ahead.
Refocusing she continued the ceremony process-
"Moonkit, you have reached the age of apprentice and are ready to begin your training, from now on you will be named Moonpaw! Your mentor will be Snowvixen!" she meowed happily
She went down tallrock and went to the new apprentice and the young warriors side to congratulate them and make sure they would be situated for anything they would need.

It was that time of the day again! Ceremony time was the time for hoping and getting those hopes crushed... kidding, but she was always left with an ache in her chest whenever more and more time passed without the last remaining siblings of her litter gaining their mentors. She didn't want them to fall behind too badly.
Sadly, today was not one of their days. It was Moonkit's turn. She held back a sigh and hyped herself up with the prospect of a new potential friend. Moonkit seemed like the sleepy type, kinda like Falconkit, and she thought that was funny.
"Moonpaw! Moonpaw!" She joined the clan's chanting after the ceremony was over. This apprentice was given to Snowvixen, who had already been given an apprentice not too long ago. Now that she thought about it, almost all of the warriors, even the leader and deputy, will probably be getting double apprentices or even more. There were just that many new apps in the clan!
Quickpaw strode over to Moonpaw and offered her a polite dip of her head and an easygoing smile. "Hiya! Congrats on becoming an apprentice! My name's Quickpaw, and I hope we can train together sometime!" She thought about her earlier observation and then added, "Or we can cloudgaze or stargaze or just hang out! Just let me know, mkay?"
Disappointment flooded through Moonkit as she was called forward. She wanted nothing more, in that moment, than to creep back to the nursery and curl up in her and her family's nest. However, that wasn't an option. Not with so many expectant eyes on her. Suddenly uncomfortable with all of the attention being showered upon her, Moonkit steeled herself against her nerves and padded towards the Tallrock, her tired gaze locked on Rapidfire. It was like the deputy read her mind and was deciding to mess with her! So, the grey kit blinked owlishly up at Rapidfire, her thoughts whirling almost too loudly in her head for her to hear the she-cat's words.
Rabbit-fluff. Who was Snowvixen anyway? She'd heard the name a few times...probably, but the warrior was mostly a mystery. Spinning, Moonkit - Moonpaw now - tried to locate her mentor as the crowd cheered her name. Instead, she came face to face with a somewhat familiar she-cat. "woah!" She yelped, surprised. "oh, uh, i mean, hey." She'd only seen the other apprentice in passing, so the offer was a bit unexpected, to say the least. "mm. probably. i like stargazing." Cloudgazing too. Or anything that required minimal effort, really.
Sunpaw hopped to her paws as Moonpaw was named Snowvixen's apprentice. "Moonpaw! Moonpaw!" She chanted along with her Clanmates, hoping her voice was among the loudest. She had to push down her disappointment - part of her had wanted them to have the same mentor, or at least mentors that might take them out together! But she didn't know a Snowvixen. She wasn't any of their kin, was she? Whose kin was she? Well, she wasn't leader's blood and Sunpaw had never heard of her, so the apprentice was pretty unimpressed. But she didn't say anything to ruin her sister's big day - she just barreled on over, tackling Moonpaw in a big hug.
"Congrats, Moon! I'm so excited! I'll have to help you with your nest - we'll get it set up next to mine, obviously." Sunpaw purred, for a moment not caring what any onlookers thought of her. Her sister had finally joined her in the apprentices' den! The flecked she-cat flashed a friendly smile toward Quickpaw, as though remembering herself. Then she turned back to Moonpaw. Her sister didn't seem terribly excited, but what else was new? Sunpaw could be happy for the both of them. "I can't wait! If that Snow... Snowvixen doesn't teach you properly, I'll show you how a real warrior hunts!"
