Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
Marigoldpaw wasn't sure he actually knew just how many kits Brightripple had given birth to. Six? Seven? Was seven a lot? It was more than six, he was pretty sure. It didn't matter- he knew there were too many to keep an eye on all at once. And so that's where the brilliant trio of toms came in, ready to save the day! Marigoldpaw turned to his friends with a grin as they stood outside the nursery. "I'm sure this will be a breeze. Ready gang?" His grey tail swayed back and forth before ducking his head under the gorse wall. It was definitely crowded, and there was definitely not enough room for three more adults. Amber eyes glowed in the dark as he meowed, "Hey, anyone want to come play? It's a nice day, I promise!"

Play. A word that will almost always summon a certain silver-furred kit, no matter where or when.
A scrawny little bundle of energy bounded out of the makeshift fort she had made from one of the nests at the back of the nursery and toward the apprentice at the entrance.
"Me! I'm always ready!" she called out with sparkling eyes. She managed to slow down enough to not crash into the tom's forelegs, but she still bumped into him.
"O-Oops! Sorry!" she giggled as she shook her head to throw off any leaves and moss still on her before attempting to stand to attention. "Quickkit reporting for duty!"

A belly-up nap had been on the menu for Moosekit, her little brown paws hanging in the air as she snoozer the day away. Her mama had scolded her for 'bouncing off the walls' mere moments ago, giving the little speedster a forced timeout while the other kits got to play. She pouted at first of course, but eventually lulled herself to sleep. Her dreams were filled with her siblings whom she chased around with glee; every so often a paw would kick out and her tiny mouth would curl into a cheeky grin.
"Hey, anyone want to come play?"
Emerald eyes shot open, body twisting around like an overturned weasel as Moosekit got to her paws. A collective, frustrated sigh echoed around the nursery as the beasts kit claws scrapped across the nursery floor in desperation. They couldn't play without her! The she-kit would bawl her little eyes out of they left her behind!
An indistinct shape shot out of the nursery entrance at top speed, a squeal of delight following not far behind as she made contact with the voice that had called out earlier, rolling with him across the ground a few times before coming to a dusty stop. "Oh, me! Me! I want to play with you-- Oh, hi Qui!" She beamed up at her sweet sister from atop the poor apprentice who suffered a full-body takedown. "What are we playing?"

Gonna make a heartthrob out of me...
Play was a word that often got Falconkit’s attention. He was much more inclined to lazing his days around or playing than preparing himself for apprenticeship. He’d been curled up near Moosekit, tolerating her occasional kicks, when an unfamiliar face leaned into the nursery and called out the beguiling word. Falconkit lifted his head curiously, though he had little time to approach before two of his siblings were scrambling up. A punched oof left him at the feeling of Moosekit’s frantic paws digging into his ribs in her frantic scrabble to join. Falconkit sighed, exasperated and fond, and hauled himself to his paws to pad after.
”I wanna join, too,” he said as he slid outside. ”I mean-- if Moosey didn’t kill ya, that is.” A round of snickers bubbled out of him as he looked over the scene of Moosekit sprawled over the poor apprentice that’d come to entertain them.

Weevilkit had been laying at the back of the nursery den, her head on the ground between her front paws as she napped. Her back feet twitched, and her head tilted from side to side as she lay asleep. A strange voice woke her up and the young bi-colored molly made her way out of the den.
She tried to step to the side of the kit standing near the entrance but lost her footing and ended up rolling next to the apprentice who had called out and the kit sitting on top of him. Weevilkit attempted to right herself and after a few tries was successful. She then moved over back towards the entrance of the nursery and sat down with her tail wrapped around her feet as she waited for them to announce what they would be playing. Ryekit was sleeping. He had had a humongous feed no less than two hours ago, and was snoozing it off. His broad paws splayed in front of him and back legs kicked out, tail flat in the middle. Play. It echoed in his skull, pulling him from his dreams with a snore and a flub of lips, and he cracked an eye open.
"G'way-- Oh," He protested at first, and then saw Falconkit getting up. With a huff he hauled himself to his paws, head hanging and eyes dark with sleep and he stumbled his way toward the moving mass of kittens. "Mm.. Me too.. G'mornin'.."

Oatfluff stood at attention beside Marigoldpaw, though he was shocked at just how many kits there were. The nursery hadn't been this full in his lifetime, and certainly not when he was a kit. Was it a curse or a blessing to have so many playmates? None of the kittens seemed to mind. If anything, they might've been better behaved for it - if they got bored, they had plenty of siblings and denmates to bother.
One kit seemed to have a little trouble getting to her paws, and Oatfluff kept a protective eye on her. When she seemed to right herself, he relaxed and turned back to the rest of the group. "Yeah, Mari! What are we playing?" He joined in Falconkit's snickering as one of Tigerstar's other kits bowled into him, taking the grey and white tom with her in a tangle of paws and fur. "Stand up, soldier. You're gonna let a kit knock you over? Er - no offense, Moosekit." The brown and black tom nudged his friend to his paws, his whiskers twitching in amusement, then cast an apologetic look toward Marigoldpaw's attacker. As another kit padded forward, a bit late to the party, Oatfluff tried not to laugh. The little tom-kit looked like he'd been sleeping for moons; he was barely awake now, even on his paws. "Up and at 'em, bud - it's time to play!"

Knowing that WindClan had been blessed with so many kits was pleasant news, but Pantherpounce was unsure what his Clan was going to do with all of them. There were so many new personalities running around, some bolder than others, and that surely meant that plenty of them would be finding ways to get themselves into trouble. That being said, the warrior didn’t dislike kits. He supposed harmless trouble was something that all kits found themselves trapped in from time to time, but he was there to make sure that they were safe. He knew all too well what could happen because of a rash decision at a young age.
Oatfluff and Marigoldpaw were well-suited for this kind of job. They were both talkative and bright and that was exactly the kind of warrior that energetic young kits wanted to spend time with. He was content with watching, but he knew that he’d be dragged into something eventually. Kit after kit seemed to pour out of the nursery, and Pantherpounce quietly laid down near the group to observe. The large tom was amused as Moosekit tackled Marigoldpaw straight to the ground, but all he could do was flick an ear to show his merriment. “I see we already have some excellent future fighters amongst you all.” He commented.
