Lilypaw’s words, nor the fact she swiftly departed the scene, registered as the WindClanner absolutely lost it. The tom’s face twisted into a grimaces as spittle filled with blood hit him in the eye. Clearly this cat was deeply disturbed to be so deep into clan territory, and then reacting like this. Who was she even screaming at, and what she trying to say? All the tom registered were howls of anguish and the dark crimson, almost black, blood that she sprayed. Did cats this unstable seriously take the hidden outcropping from them? This was deeply embarrassing. He didn’t even want it back, but if they’d lost it to cats like this, ShadowClan certainly didn’t deserve it back. He made no move to cut in, just watched in stunned silence.

And finally, when she could scream no more, the silence was entirely and utterly much too profound. Now that it was over, and the crazed she-cat was basically unmoving, overcome with her own emotion, he wasn’t sure what to do. Lilypaw had left, and honestly she’d be more useless than he was right now. What Nettleweaver did need though was the warrior gone. He skipped forward and headbutted her lightly, knowing there wasn’t much point wailing on a cat that really could not give anything more. Hopefully this was the nudge in the right direction she needed. “Go home, you deranged creature.” his tone was gentle, but firm. If she tried anything though, Nettleweaver would be ready.
