Ever since Sweetheart had shook out her sopping fur all over Silverdusk when they were apprentices she had detested the brown and white warrior. Their dislike for Sweetheart had only grown since, her warrior ceremony a shining example of the molly's character. Being stuck on this patrol with the irksome she-cat was less than stellar, but Silverdusk refused to let that show. They padded beside Sweetheart and tried not to think about the past moon. It was hard though, especially as Sweetheart was Mottlestar's granddaughter, though they were nothing alike at all. Sweetheart was far too prissy and self-serving, but she had turned up the patrol... that was at least something. They weren't sure how much else she did. Still, tensions between clanmates were unnecessary, especially now and despite their feelings towards her, Silverdusk would rather build bridges than burn them. Perhaps this patrol was an opportunity. A soft sigh escaped them. "Have you been out in the territory before, Sweetheart?" she asked, bushy tail twitching.

"Of course I have," Sweetheart grumbled to Silverdusk, her head held high and fluffy tail swishing confidently back and forth. The truth was that she hadn't gotten to spend too much time in the territory after they'd returned due to the sickness that had kept her nest-ridden, but she'd learned lots from the times that she had gone hunting and on patrols.

"I'm a ThunderClanner, aren't I? Only kits and apprentices don't know they're way around their own territory," she huffed to the grey warrior. While being clanmates, she wasn't particularly close to any-cat, much less Silverdusk, and the uppity molly wasn't too keen on small talk. Hopefully she'd drop it soon...

“Of course.” echoed Silverdusk, the bicolour molly’s high pitched voice grating against their ears. She barely suppressed the grimace that flashed on their features. Sweetheart was thankfully brief in the use of her voice. Though she had the remarkable skill of being unpleasant no matter how much they talked. Silverdusk’s tattered ear flicked. Unbecoming pettiness nagged at the silver warrior, begging them to return the fluffy she-cat’s attitude. ”I forget, you act so much like a kit still.” they mewed evenly, keeping their fur flat. She had already lowered herself
to petty remarks, she wouldn’t lower herself to letting their annoyance show so visibly.

Silverdusk's comment was what sent the fluffy warrior over the edge. "I'll show you who's a kit!" Sweetheart spat right before she whirled around and lept at her clanmate with outstretched paws. Bowling the silver warrior over with as much force as she could muster, Sweetheart got herself up as quickly as possible and shot her fiery gaze at the molly. Why was every cat just so... so... infuriating?! No one understood her and they never would!

Sweetheart used Jumping Strike, causing 10 damage (7+3) and costing 7 stamina.

Silverdusk snorted at Sweetheart's words. She was so ridiculous. The blow was quite obviously coming, but they'd let it hit, just to show how unbothered they were. They rolled with the blow, and when Sweetheart retreated, she was up to, prowling slow towards her. "You hit like a kit too." they mocked, tail sweeping the ground as she advanced. Like the bicolour molly was no older than a kit, the tall warrior picked her up by the scruff. She was careful not to break skin, Sweetheart was unfortunately a clanmate after all. "And you're not much bigger than one either to me." Being tall certainly had its perks, and today Silverdusk was going to relish in them.

"Am not!" Sweetheart spat as Silverdusk gripped her by the scruff. "At least I'm not shaped like a tree!" Flailing as much as she could manage in such a position, the warrior's chest began to throb. She knew that she was almost at her limit but great StarClan did she want to pummel the tall warrior into the dirt some more. Why did her body have to be so weak all the time? It just wasn't fair!
