Cloudkit's mossball [O]

Cloudkit ran around the nursery, hardly touching the ground she was amazed at her own speed. Normally she would of already been tired but not today, she kept running until she finally fell down in a thump. "Oof."she pulled her head up, then, stood up with some moss on her head. Using her paw she brushed it off. Cloudkit looked at the queens, then crawled out of the nursery, while the queens talked in the nursery, not realising she left. Cloudkit looked around to find her moss ball she hid under some bracken. She looked and found her ball under moss. she forgotten she had placed it there instead of the bracken"Found it!" she picked it up and crawled into the nursery with it, still the queens were chatting. She placed it on the ground then whacked the ball and began to chase it around the nursery.

The mossball came to a sudden stop as a large white paw struck out, blocking its path. "Are you playing mossball on your own?" asked Nettlepaw, raising an eyebrow. He released the ball, and quickly placed the moss he had been forced to gather for nests down. Such a menial task, when he knew there were far more interesting and productive thing he could spend his time doing - like playing mossball with the little kitten in front of him. "I'll double the numbers in your game. The name's Nettlepaw, what's yours?" The tom cocked his head, sweeping his gaze over Cloudkit. It was funny how similar they looked, both white with mismatched eyes, the only difference was that she had a tail.

Cloudkit looked at nettlepaw then back at the moss ball "um sure i guess just let me put it in the middle okay?"As she placed it in the middle of the nursery wondering if she should of said yes or no , something touched her. she looked and saw her moss ball ,realising she dropped it. she picked it up and placed it down.so are you gonna play or what?

"I'm not playing until you tell me your name." mewed Nettlepaw, a long ear ticking. The white kitten seemed a little impatient to get to the game, another similarity they shared. A smile crept on his maw, as he reminisced on the games he played as a kit, and the trouble he got into. Now he was apprenticed to Swiftheart, who ironically enough had helped him get into far more trouble than he initially would have. It was amazing how little the deputy saw, though with only one eye Sablestrike probably didn't see much these days. His fluffy white cheeks expanding, sucking in the laugh he was about to let out. Nettlepaw was definitely not mature enough to be an apprentice, but if the deputy thought he should be... Well he wasn't going to argue.

"fine my name is Cloudkit alright"Cloudkit whacked her mossball and chased it again, she watched as it went up the tunnel, she whacked it again once it came down and gave chase. Running around the nursery she whacked into a wall and squished her moss ball in the process"no! my mossball!"she looked at the squished ball ,then walked off and out of the nursery.

Nettlepaw reeled back, shocked by the kit’s sudden anger. Jeez, I just wanted to know your name.” he mewed in offence. Cloudkit was quick on her feet, and she was also a hog. The ball never came anywhere near Nettlepaw, so when the huddle of fluff squashed their own ball he couldn’t help but laugh. “Serves you right for being a hog and a meanie… Hey! Wait, where are you going?” the time meowed bounding after Cloudkit, who was determined to not stay still. Nettlepaw whirled round, blocking her path forward, gazing down at the kit with an incredulous look on his face. “You do realise kit’s aren’t allowed outside of the nursery without a guide right?” No way was Nettlepaw kit-sitting! He’d just exchanged his chore for an even worse one, he also knew he was far from capable of taking care of Cloudkit. “If you don’t go back inside now I’m gonna get a warrior. Or you can go back inside and your escape can be our little secret.” there was a slight purr to the end of his speech, glee building at the thought of having another secret in his collection. One thing about kits - they were naive and he would take advantage of that. The apprentice took a step forward, trying to block Cloudkit’s path forward and to usher her back towards the nursery.

Cloudkit looked at Nettlepaw with a frustrated glance okay fine please just don't tell a warriorCloudkit walked into the nursery mad she couldn't sneak out and find something to replace her moss ball "can you help me look for something to replace my moss ball?"She walked up to the squished remains of her moss ball "or you could help me fix my mouse ball"cloudkit said in a stern voice.

Nettlepaw clicked his tongue, following behind Cloudkit. "You broke it, you fix it." he mewed with a shrug of his shoulders, indifferent to the little kits attitude. The nerve... No way was he getting his paws dirty helping a rude kit like her. "Do you even have manners, Cloudkit?" The tom sat down, raising a paw to his mouth and began to clean himself.

"yes i do!"Cloudkit looked at him with anger, cloudkit whacked his face before leaving the nursery to find more moss since most of the moss got recked with dirt she glanced over her shoulder"maybe don't be a jerk flea-brain"and padded away from nettlepaw and outside.

The tom scrunched his pink nose. "Whatever." he snapped storming out of the nursery, feeling his face stinging from such a harsh blow. Clearly Cloudkit saw nothing wrong with her actions, well she'd regret hitting him letter. Attacking a clanmate was against the code. His eyes widened as he realised the dirt he had on the little she-cat, she was going to regret that.

cloudkit halfway out realised the moss nettlepaw was carrying was inside the the nursery, she bounded down tripping and falling out into the open. quickly she grabbed the moss and started rolling it into a ball "nettlepaw!!!!! please help me!"disspite her effots it kept unrolling into a heap of moss.

The kit's loud shrieks did little influence Nettlepaw. "No." he hissed, continuing to walk past the fumbling Cloudkit, and the mess she was in. "Looks like a skill issue to me."

cloudkit face twisted towards nettlepaw "excuse me?!"hissed cloudkit. anger flared in her eyes"i don't have a skill issue "hissed the enraged kit stood up and walked up to nettlepaw "i never said you had a skill issue did i?"she swiped nettlepaw again for the secand timeflea-brained mouse-dungcloudkit padded off and away from nettlepaw.

A yowl escaped Nettlepaw as sharp claws connected with his face. His face felt sticky, and a metallic taste filled his mouth. That foxhearted kit had drawn blood, and what was worse was ShadowClan's newest lost cause was having a go at him? Nettlepaw's ears fell backwards a growl building in his throat, for once he hadn't done anything wrong. "Maybe get your facts right first before you try and tell me off, Lilypaw." he hissed shooting her a cold stare. "Cloudkit is tangled up in the bedding I brought in, and she's only in this situation thanks to her self. I didn't even say one mean thing to her let alone touch a whisker on her dumb head." He jabbed a paw at Cloudkit, bearing his teeth. "All I did was offer to play mossball with her." meowed Nettlepaw, shaking with annoyance. Where had Lilypaw even gotten these accusations from, was this a new trend? Hate on Nettlepaw all the time? Well if they wanted to go low, he'd go lower. The tom stalked toward Lilypaw his movements pointed and angry. "I'd watch my tongue before I go making baseless accusations, if I were you, Lilypaw. I'm not that one that just got demoted to apprentice. Maybe you should act more like an apprentice than a warrior, hm?" he hissed. The white apprentice was usually non-confrontational, but being ganged up on had not only wounded his pride, but also offended him. Sure he was troublesome, but he wasn't a bully, and when he had mean thoughts he usually kept them to himself. Lilypaw had unfortunately invoked his rage, and so his previous qualms were gone.
