Marshmallow Creme [Hunting Assessment]

As Mallowpaw called out, Creamsky let out a soft sigh of relief - he would have followed the apprentice if he had chosen to keep hunting but the warrior was exhausted from all of this jumping from branch to branch... Of course he quickly tried to hide that as he looked down at Mallowpaw with a smile. "I'm happy to report that you have," he meowed, allowing Mallowpaw's attention to be drawn skyward before the tom dropped from the branches, having not wanted to startle the apprentice.

One would think a SkyClan cat would consider looking up more but it was clear that Mallowpaw wasn't one for the branches, which was fine. He could understand why cats would hesitate about it, mostly in the current season where the branches felt extra brittle with all of the snow that weighed them down throughout the colder moons. He brushed it off through - it would hardly make or break Mallowpaw becoming a warrior and he would hardly be the last SkyClan cat to forgo hunting among the branches.

"The only requirement was three caught prey...And you've certainly managed it. You did well, Mallowpaw - even with the one miss, you didn't let it weigh you down and continued with your head held high," he meowed, doing his best to quiet the wheezing that tried to follow every breath, before he motioned for Mallowpaw to follow him. "Now come on, we'll still missing your first bird," he said as he leaned down to pick up the squirrel that Mallowpaw had uncovered before he started to backtrack to where the first caught prey had been left.

While even following the assessment had taken a lot out of him, he was content - he would be proud to report that Mallowpaw was ready for his warrior name.
