finders keepers, losers.... die [Grub solo]

Although prey seemed to be coming back to the forest in the absence of the clan cats, the dumpsters lining the alleyways still flourished with food much more enticing: whole chickens cooked and half eaten, every type of meat and cheese stuck with thin little pokey sticks, crumbly breads only a tiny bit furry... What a luxurious meal! He was certain he could eat his fill and then some before they emptied the dumpster for the week. Whatever went on in the building that owned this bin, he would be back again.

The plan was to eat until his belly was full, the mush and mysterious liquids he was wading in never bothering him. That was until a heavy THUD sounded above him, the last remaining lid on the elongated dumpster rattling above him. Thoroughly spooked, Grub wasted no time in springing against the walls to get out of there as fast as he could, accidentally scaring the Fox that had come to take a bite of the abundant food the alleyway had to offer.

Both believing that one had just deliberately attacked the other, a fight for survival began.

Grub used Jumping Strike as the first move dealing 11 damage and using 7 SP

A blurr of teeth and garbage juice riddled claws tore up the snow as fox and cat battled for the right for the treasures of this particular alleyway. The hideous cries of the fox sounded oddly like laughter as Grub sank tooth and claw into it's red pelt. It made Grub's sticky fur somehow stand up along his spine.

Grub used Dirty Trick paired with Snap for a total of 15 damage and using 14 total SP.
Fox used Iron Bite, dealing 17 damage and using 30SP.

The foxes teeth clamped into his calico shoulder, sharp pain shooting through his neck and giving him a headache. Dramatically, his head rolled backwards and eyes fluttering closed as he fell limp within the jaws of the Fox... A perfectly executed plan. As soon as the fox loosened its iron grip, he lashed out.

Furious at being tricked, the Fox once again snapped at the tom cat with reckless abandon.

Bright orange scruff within reach of jagged teeth, Grub viciously yanked and shook the Fox.

Caught off guard by the violent shaking, the Fox stumbled over its own black paws.

While his opponent was busy putting its shaken brain back together, Grub grabbed a broken off icicle - made of unknown liquids - that had broken off the blackened lid of neighboring garbage bin, piercing an orange shoulder and topping it off with claws to the face.

Unfortunately, one could only dodge so many times. In an attempt to counter-attack, Grub found himself once again in the jaws of a miserably hungry Fox.

Paws slipping and sliding in the ice and snow, the grungy tom disappeared through a crack in the stone wall that lined the dark alleyway. The only traces left behind was
blood and a fox who lay mere inches from death, but content in it's victory.
