Outside of forced rest by severe illness, it had been many moons since she had sat down to take a break. Heatherberry was nowhere near as ill as she had been when they had first arrived, a multitude of herbs working in tandem to keep her body moving and settle a burning fever that never seemed to truly go away. Every now and again, she would see glimmers of her past as though they were her present. She would see Batswarm and Moondancer bickering amongst themselves whenever she saw Leopardstar or Badgermask. For a while, she had thought those illusions to be real. Stars only knew how many times she hurt someone by exclaiming names of the past.

She was in the present now, eyes softly looking into her fathers as she lay next to him. "How are you feeling today, dad?"
