Galekit's heart nearly burst listening to Daisypaw's praise and her rewards to them. The flowers smelled lovely. He wore his badge of honor proudly puffing his chest out and strutting about the den with his chin and tail held high, a confident smile across his face. Daisypaw's praise had melted his shyness away, and he felt very self-assured now. She might not need rescued, but that's because she was Daisypaw, of course.
"Thanks Daisypaw!" he echoed his sister. He listened to the pretty she-cat's advice, to go see the elders. "Of course! The elders will definitely have some rocks that we can defeat, Cloudykit," he readily agreed. "And if we see Molehill, he will certainly have plenty," he noted. "We'll get him for you, Daisypaw!"
Then he turned back to his patrol leader. Anything else we can do? he pondered, gaze flitting about the medicine den once more. His eyes rested on the medicine cat, her eyes closed, looking as though she might drift off any second.
She looks like she could use a nap, Galekit thought, feeling his shyness flood back into him at once. She looks as sleepy as I am when Morningmoon keeps us up with stories. But he couldn't manage to get the words out, so he stared blankly at his sister. I'm so glad she's the patrol leader this time. Galekit couldn't imagine making a decision right now. It felt like he had bees in his brain!

Daisypaw purred softly at the kits’ enthusiasm, even if their bouncing bodies were hard to keep track of as they skipped around the den. “Nothing else here that brave kits need to tend to.” She winced at the ragged scrape of her voice. “Molehill knows more-” She swallowed painfully, taking a moment to catch her breath and forcing another coughing fit back into the darkness of her chest. “Knows more about rocks than I do, he probably knows the best places to find them.”
The bi-color molly curled her tail over her white paws, subtly leaning back against the mud-packed half wall of the den where all the herbs were stored in dug-out cubbies and crevices in the earth. All her brother’s work, and probably the one project she admired the most, not that she was biased or anything. “The elders might even tell you stories about the tunnels in WindClan’s old territory if you do a good job with the rocks, but you better hurry before they start to settle in for their sun-high naps.”

Cloudykit's ears perked excitedly at Daisypaw's words. "We will make sure to find Molehill and we will gather all the rocks he knows about, just for you Daisypaw!" She declared, turning on her heels and leaving the den immediately without even glancing at Galekit. She had left him alone with Daisypaw without even realizing.
Her voice was muffled and distant, because she had left and was actively walking away, but you could make out a soft "The elders will tell us all the stories!" outside of the den.
