Mealworms [Grub Litter]

As of right now, the date for the Grub litter is set for February 28th! This is the only litter he will have, so please do consider! I will be reaching out a week beforehand to check in~

Father's Name: Grub
Clan: Rogue!
Origins: Adopted by the twolegs who live in the barn for the previous barn cat to raise as his own. Grub has never been inside a house before, but he's very knowledgeable of the streets! He was raised by a kind elder by the name of Mr. Worm who was the embodiment of kindness.
Personality: There is not a corner of the earth he wouldn't turn over for even a speck of knowledge or entertainment. Grub loves exploring and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, never learning his lesson when that nose is inevitably bit. He has little to no morals. Unlike his father, Grub is the exact opposite of an angel. Someone died because he was careless? Skill issue. If he's being attacked? You're also being attacked now and he's leaving you behind. Survival of the fittest! He is not afraid to fight dirty, either.
Appearance: A mottled pelt with a mixture of orange, white, and black. There is white around his face that resembles a mask.

There are slots for adoption, but Grub is not the kind of guy to just be a father figure willingly. This litter was thrust upon him so if you'd like to be adopted by Grub, your character will have to gain his interest or just start calling him father.

Personality: Schadenfreude, observant, mischievous; With the interest of entertainment always in mind, Grub Jr. won't try to convince someone not to go through with a bad idea. She thrives on others making trouble for themselves and observing from afar.

Personality: Louse is a parasite that more often than not only has his best interests at heart. He has no qualms about using cats, backstabbing cats, snitching on cats… anything that keeps his hide safe. He might risk his pelt for a few cats here and there, but that’s not going to happen lightly. Louse is very petty and he thrives on spite.

Personality: Intelligent, proud, cheeky; childish, difficult, touchy. Inherited an extremely strict moral code from who-knows-where except no one actually knows what it is but him.

Small bump! Set for two months out

Name: Weaver

Appearance: short hair black tortie with lime green eyes

Personality:being born sickly and quite small and spindly, weaver is just like his namesake - the weaver ant - this tom is a pack animal and comes off as very much a follower. While like in the image he seems to blend into the shadows, he refuses to be too far from those he cares about.

Weaver likes to be a part of the action but...after everyone else has done the dirty work, he likes to put words in others mouths and thoughts in their head, weaving webs of lies and truth making his life quite mysterious and unpredictable to others. As a child he is quite the liar and mischievous kitten but never initiating. he enjoys giving others a good scare, making others feel uneasy, watched and like they need to be careful around him.

His actions and reasoning is merely for his own entertainment, but not because he enjoys inflicting pain, more because he is curious. Curious about how people will react. Curious if they will believe him, curious what things are made of.

When in a situation where he has done something truly wrong and against his own morals he will close himself off to others and has light himself into feeling better.

Weaver follows the more gregarious siblings and knows how to use his childhood sickness to his advantage.

With the rule change, mealworms will now have more than 5 in the litter! The cap for this one is now 8 instead of 5 and will be the last and only Grub litter. The tentative date will be February 28th and I'll be reaching out a week before that time to check in

Just posting again to confirm my spot in the litter (I'll make the space before the due date!) rather than just pending! and to put up a more solid idea of Fish <3

Appearance: Fish's soft, scruffy coat is almost entirely black save for the blaze of orange centering his face, as well as the duller patch threading his chest. In the right light, his ruddy undertones bring even more of his father's color out in him. A scrawny build makes narrow legs look long, but he's shorter than most warriors. His green eyes are always sparkling with something, whether interest or mischief.

Personality: Boastful, independent, keen; reliant, tactless, stubborn. Inherited an extremely strict moral code from who-knows-where, except no one actually knows what it is but him. Praise-driven. While he's often selfish, and periodically rude, Fish isn't malicious: he aims largely to do good, even if that's because it's in his own best interest to do so.

Personality: Spider is a calm, mellow cat who tends to be fickle. His loyalty lies with whoever is willing to offer him the most, and even then the only cat he’s truly loyal to is himself. He’s often underestimated because he’s quiet but he’s extremely observant, often lurking in the shadows to catch cats spilling all their deepest kept secrets when they think no one’s watching. Unsurprisingly, he loves gossip, and he’s drawn to drama like a moth to a flame.
