Tawnyshadow hated the feeling of not doing anything, and now that she was confined to the temporary camp with a broken pad, the warrior found her paws itching with restlessness. She spotted her medicine cat in the corner with several piles of herbs, and limped over. Perhaps she could still make herself useful, even if it wasn't a warrior's duty. "Greetings, Burdockroot. May I help you with the herbs?" She asked as politely as she could, begging on the inside to please let her help.

Tawnyshadow nodded, getting right to work. She watched carefully how the medicine cat skillfully unwrapped the herbs then wrapped them up again with new leaves without scratching a single one. She turned to the bundle she had been given, and delicately removed the layer of outer leaves with her teeth. She worked at a snail's pace, treating the herbs like newborn kits as she removed each layer. Finally, she was left with an unharmed pile of herbs, which she once again wrapped up in new leaves at the same pace before passing them back to Burdockroot. ______________________________________ |
