What are the duties of a medicine cat? : so we all know that a medicine cat is supposed to use herbs to heal their clanmates whenever theyre sick or injured, but medicine cats also have a special connection with starclan. they take apprentices to highstones and meet with other medicine cats monthly to receive omens that can help the clan and even the forest as a whole. theyre also not supposed to take a mate or have kits and their walk of life is more peace-oriented than that of a warrior. they sometimes also act as an advisor for the clan leader. sitewise, they use the starclan revelation dice during medicine cat meetings, the herb hunting system, and the healing system.
What would you do with this position? : most people know thyme is a sweetheart so it makes the most sense for me to put her down the medicine path since she already despises fighting and feels like her purpose is to help cats. she'd be sort of like the "traditional" mc in the sense that she's very kind and gentle, but also sort of a "non-traditional" mc in the sense that her feelings toward starclan aren't blindly good just because she was told to like them, they're complicated. she disagrees with them in quite a few ways but will still do whatever she can to help her clanmates.
Why you think you deserve this position? : im an active member (well for the past month and a half i've been off the grid but that's because i've been sick and busy but i'm back now) who knows how the site works and i’ve had a high rank position before a few years ago. it wasn’t an mca position, but i know the importance of things like activity and putting up topic requests quickly for apprentices that need requirements because of my old leadership position. i’ve always wanted an mca position on here since it looks really fun !!
