Laying on the bank of the river was a lone brown and white cat - one paw hanging lazily over the edge as they swirled the water with a small smile. Duckpaw had been granted a day free from training or other responsibilities and had elected to use it by making the most of the sunlight - letting it warm their pelt as the laid among the rocks that RiverClan proudly owned. Of course, they were also keenly aware of the fact that this area was now shared by the two Clans - granted ThunderClan had no hunting rights of course...But they were at least able to bask in the sunlight and enjoy its warmth.
With a huff, Duckpaw rolled away from the shore, pausing on their back to stretch out all four of their legs as far as they could before they curled in on themselves, leaning their head back as they closed their eyes. It was a peaceful day at least - they could hear the faint sound of bird chirping from the forest, the faint babbling of the river as it flowed ever steadily on their other side. Their tail swished back and forth, content to take in the sound of nature itself - of course they doubted it would stay that way.. Sooner or later somebody would come by - thought Duckpaw truthfully was looking forward to the chance of company, no matter which Clan it would be from.

Thrush nose
"You're on your own, kid. You've always had been."
"You come away with a great little story of a mess of a dreamer with the nerve to adore you."
It was an odd thing for Sunningrocks to have been shared so easily. Not that Thrushnose was complaining about it, no, it was much the opposite. In fact, he was overjoyed that they could finally rest together where it would be considered a shared alliance between the precious spot of two clans and not as rivaling enemies. With the condition that Thunderclan would not interfere in and hunt fish from Riverclan's side—which he didn't necessarily prefer the prey, anyway, he was fine with it.
Deciding that he could take a quick break from his duties of being a warrior, Thrushnose decided to head to the smooth stones for a relaxing time of sunbathing, his tail already lifted high up in enthusiasm at the idea. His paws led him close to the border, a leapable gap forming a river shared between the two territories. His whiskers twitched when he spotted the sight of a Riverclan apprentice lazing nearby, seemingly enjoying their time to relax and take the day off the same as he did.
Making sure to not miss the aim, the tom leaped easily to the other side, landing on one of the large, smooth boulders resting on the bank of Riverclan. The scent marks were clear, though he needed to remind himself to not be on edge, knowing he didn't quite do anything wrong as far as it was allowed. "Hey there," Thrushnose greeted the young apprentice, a smile at his maw, "Mind if I join you? My name is Thrushnose." He sat near the fellow cat, stretching himself down to settle in a more comfortable pose.

All Hail ThunderClan's Resident Hufflepuff
littlepaw
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times.
The concept of Sunningrocks sounded like a fantasy to Littlepaw. So far, being an apprentice had been an exciting yet stressful combination of duties, and the she-cat would be lying if she said she wasn't grateful for the opportunity to help out the Clan, but she also knew that every cat needed a break every now and then. To find out that there was a place where RiverClan and ThunderClan cats could just... lay around... was intriguing to her. The idea of an alliance was also interesting. She wasn't the type of cat to instantly vilify another cat simply because they were from another Clan unless they had given her a good reason to be disliked. Going on a trip to Sunningrocks would give her the chance to possibly meet a RiverClan cat in person. For a new apprentice that had never been to a Gathering yet, the concept of cats from other Clans was still quite a mystery.
When the she-cat arrived, she wasn't surprised to see that there were already two other cats there. She immediately recognized Thrushnose, but the other cat was unfamiliar. Littlepaw padded over with a hint of a smile on her maw. "Heya Thrushnose, hi cat whose name I don't know." The apprentice greeted them quickly as she slinked over to a rock of her own. She shifted her tail as she made herself comfortable, "Don't mind me, just, uh... sunbathing. Whatever the word is."

Dovepaw had been working a little bit too hard the past couple days. He had been frustrated with his lack of progress in training, so he'd practiced the same moves over and over again, leading to him getting too overheated with the harsh sunlight. Of course, Egretswoop had noticed--nothing escaped those inscrutable amber eyes--and sent him on a day off to relax. It was annoying. He just wanted to keep getting better so that he could be stronger, so he could protect his siblings and his Clan. How would lying around accomplish that? Still... he would feel embarrassed if he just sat around in camp watching patrols come and go, so he decided to sneak off to Sunningrocks. It was a nice enough day that other cats were bound to be there, anyway, so he wouldn't get accused of attempting to be out in the territory alone.
Since it was so hot, he made a quick stop further upstream in the river and swam his way to the rocks. The water was a nice and cooling temperature, and though it soaked into his fur a bit more than it did the full-blooded RiverClan cats, he'd gotten used enough to swimming that his paws cut through the current with ease. It didn't take him long at all to make it to the shallower area, with the wide gray stones that drank all the sunlight in the area. And sure enough, there were other cats there--a RiverClan cat he recognized from the apprentice's den, and two ThunderClan cats. His arrival would at least make it an even number, though the presence of a warrior from the allied Clan made him more than a little bit nervous. Still, he paddled over and ended up on top of the rocks, right next to his Clanmate. "Hey there, Duckpaw," Dovepaw said. Chilly water rolled off of his fur and pooled into a small puddle under him. He would have shaken it off, but didn't want to offend the ThunderClan cats. Thankfully he'd arrived just soon enough to hear one of their names. "Nice to meet you, Thrushnose, and, um... apprentice." That was awkward. "I'm Dovepaw. What's your name? It's a pretty good day to sunbathe here."

At the sound of pawsteps, Duckpaw's eyes flickered open - rolling onto their side with a soft thump as they weren't going to lie with their stomach exposed with strangers about - and it was clear it was strangers as a fresh ThunderClan scent wafted through the air as a tom arrived, greeting the apprentice settling down with surprising relaxation. ...Right, while Duckpaw hadn't been minding company from either Clan, there was something odd about suddenly being...Friendly with a stranger - mostly as another ThunderClan cat arrived - an apprentice this time, as she chirped her own greeting and explained that she was just here to sunbath.
At least, he wasn't the lone RiverClan cat for long as Dovepaw arrived before he could respond to either of their greetings, giving a welcomed grin at their denmate. They scooted into a more comfortable position, tucking their paws beneath them as they glanced between the cats. So Thrushnose, a ThunderClan apprentice who had yet to give their name, and Dovepaw...Fine enough company for the day, they suppose. Their whiskers twitched as they gave a shrug - finally finding the words to respond to all of the greetings. "No, I don't mind the company - these rocks are to be shared after all...And as Dovepaw so kindly said," they meowed, sticking their tongue out playfully at Dovepaw for robbing them the chance to introduce themself. "My name is Duckpaw. Its, uh, nice to meet you all as well."
