Littleflower waited at the camp entrance ready to start the patrol. She knew it would be tricky as she was still little too rusty at hunting. This would be a good day to get back into things and try to do her duties, even with her backside being a bit crippled. As littleflower was in her thoughts, she didnt realize the rest of the patrol show up.
Another day, another patrol she'd been assigned to with a clanmate she did not know the name of. Wolfblossom must've been doing it on purpose, but Beechfang... didn't mind it. She needed to get to know her clanmates one way or another, and patrolling was as good a way as anything else.
The cat who was waiting by the camp entrance seemed lost in her own thoughts, and it was with a start that Beechfang realized she recognized her. Albeit from seeing her and another apprentice brought into camp with burns, but still. She could recall the intense flash of anger at seeing her clanmates injured, but it seemed they had all recovered, including enough for this she-cat to have a warrior ceremony. Beechfang expected that she wouldn't be at 100% just yet though, as the disastrous gathering had not been all that long ago. Still, they would patrol and do what they could.
"Littleflower, right?" She mewed, padding up to the younger she-cat, "I'm Beechfang."

Littleflower smiled in greeting at the older she-cat. "Im littleflower." she mewed and once more cats arrived they started to head out. Littleflower didn't really know where they would hunt first so let beechfang, a more experienced cat, lead the way.

Beechfang nodded at the younger warrior, leading the way out of camp. She tended to favor places near the creek, but through the trees she could see another patrol hunting in the distance. Beechfang was careful to pick a path around them, giving the other hunting patrol their space to avoid scaring off the prey and avoid accidental competition. That left them farther from the area around the creek, but that didn't mean they couldn't still hunt and talk while patrolling... Not that Beechfang was sure of what to say.

Littleflower stopped at a small clearning as she caught the scent of a bird. Usually littleflower wouldnt hunt a bird as she wasnt fast enough but this bird was on the ground and distracted. She silently and slowly stalked up to the bird, careful to not make any sudden moves. When she was close enough to not have her leg be a hinderance, she pounced. Her leg landed hard but she did end up catching the bird, with one final bite, killing it.
Littleflower is trying to catch BIRD [1-8], Successful!!

Beechfang hung back as Littleflower moved toward a bird, silently watching as she got close enough to leap... Closer than she might've, once, and her eye narrowed slightly at the riskiness of being nearly on top of prey before going for the final strike. But a catch was a catch. Her landing was a bit rough, but not something that wouldn't improve with time. "You will get used to it." The older warrior stated simply, turning in search of her own prey. There was another bird in the trees... But Beechfang kept searching. She'd rather not go into the trees if she could help it.

Littleflower looked at her confused. What did she mean. By you will get used to it? Hunting? The pain ij her leg? So many things it could mean. She just stahed quiet as she watched beechfang look for her prey item.
