ThunderClan's newfound alliance didn't have that many practical effects on Nightdancer's life. However, it did have one: ThunderClan cats were allowed to visit Sunningrocks, provided they weren't there to hunt. So, after her early morning patrols were done, Nightdancer let her paws carry her to the rocks and sprawl herself out across one particularly nice sun-warmed stone.

She allowed herself only the slightest of movements, tail swaying with the light greenleaf breeze, and closed her eyes.

Even knowing she ought to be getting to know her Clanmates more, bonding with them properly, she couldn't find it in herself to regret this decision. All the sadness she found herself bathed in seemed to melt away under the direct light of the sun.

When news that Sunningrocks would be shared between ThunderClan and RiverClan had reached Firefly, it was very upsetting. She could push aside mixed blood since she herself was of tainted blood. But sharing a territory? Mottlestar and Perchstar might as well have taken their camp walls down.

As green eyes stared at the waves of heat coming off the smooth stones, Firefly couldn't help but feel her paws begin to move without consent. In the blink of an eye, her russet body was laid out upon the rocks without a care in the world...

Until her tail brushed against something. Turning her head in a daze, the hold the sun had on her was ripped away. Her tail had just brushed against a RiverClan cat. "......Apologies." An awkward silence followed as she stiffly laid down much further away, too proud to show another cat just how uncomfortable that had been.
