A Raven's Flight is open to all!!!

True to her Clan's name, Ravenkit was hard to spot in the shadows. Her pelt blended seamlessly. Except for half her face. But the young kitten didn't let it bother her too much. Turning her head to the side, hiding away the grey from the viewer would make sure that any cat or any prey would not see her. Of course, looking out of the side of her eyes at the rest of camp got tiring and she eventually turned the rest of her head back. Ravenkit still had moons before she became an apprentice. Despite herself, the young kit wanted nothing more than to grow up. Hunting was a passion, even though her hunting consisted of moss tucked just around the corner of the nursery entrance.

Getting low, Ravenkit's tail swung back and forth recklessly. The moss was a frog. The clan needed her for food...! Leaping with paws outstretched, she landed on...something much softer than the moss. They collided, leaving Ravenkit dizzy and uncertain of what had just occurred. Had she pounced on another cat?

Ravenkit opened her maw to apologize for colliding with him, before it snapped shut. Did she need help? No. "You stepped in front of my prey." Ravenkit huffed, standing to shake herself off. "So you owe me one frog." She gestured with her tail to the moss scattered on the ground. Ravenkit had a dumb amount of confidence in her small body to talk to an apprentice like this.

The kit let out an exasperated sigh. "Noo. That's no fun. You have to play with me now." She batted the crushed moss away with a paw. "Pleaaaaase." She blinked rapidly, showing of her big kitten eyes. It usually worked on her mom. Maybe also on other cats?

Snowfoot chuckled as yet another generation found their feet. “Bickering, I see,” she purred, stepping towards the young cats. “I wonder what would’ve happened if everyone bickered like that during the Great Shake.” Her tone was lighthearted and teasing more than anything, with only a hint of warning buried beneath.

Ravenkit grinned, seeing her attempt to sway Skunkpaw worked. "Okay, pretend you are the biggest frog ever and--" Ravenkit blinked rapidly. "The...the what?" She echoed, blue eyes growing wide. What could that have meant? Was it a huge event in the forest? Were there giant cats? The ideas floated through her mind. What was the Great Shake?

Cloudkit heard something in the nursery, so he went to investigate. An apprentice, a kit and... a warrior?
It didn't matter, because Cloudkit had just seen something that interested him more: clean moss.

He jumped up and landed on some moss, grabbing it in his muzzle and tossing it. Was there anything better than moss?

Snowfoot smiled at Ravenkit’s expression. “Moons ago, before you were born, something happened that we call the Great Shake. The earth trembled and the ground broke open. The marsh spilled all over the camp and we all had to go live at Fourtrees. When we got there, it turned out all the other clans had done the same thing! All five clans lived at Fourtrees for a couple moons at least.” The she-cat shifted, an odd feeling itching at her chest.
