| Tawnyshadow led the way through the territory, Crowspirit behind her. While she would have once been nervous about leading older warriors during patrols, it was something she was used to now. Today was a simple hunting patrol, a relief from all that battle training she was doing last minute. Thank the stars Moondancer and Sablestrike were willing to help her. She glanced over at the grey tabby. Should she say something? ______________________________________ |

(OOC: I can spawn in a predator later if you don't roll one!)Crowspirit's pawsteps remained silent almost the entire way through the patrol, gleaming yellow eyes sharp on the lookout for prey hidden among the shadows of the night. In front of her was Tawnyshadow, a warrior she'd yet gotten to know much of despite the time she'd spent so long in Shadowclan. Her pelt held a unique pattern that was eye-catching, to say the least, but it wasn't because of so that she wanted to get to know the she-cat. Still, there was nothing preventing them from getting to know each other now, was there? "Something on your mind?" The warrior hummed, tilting her head curiously. | Tawnyshadow's ears twitched at the question. "Just the same as everyone else," She replied, already beginning to stalk after a frog scent trail. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk to Crowspirit, she just felt that hunting during the hunting patrol might have been more important. There was a reason for why they were here, after all. Tawnyshadow slipped effortlessly through the shadows, her figure no more than the slight quivers of pine needles left behind. She paused as soon as she saw her prize: a fat frog hopped around at the base of a pine tree. She lowered herself to the ground and began slowly creeping up towards it... her claws lashed out, silencing the frog's cry before it was even uttered. Tawnyshadow picked up the limp form of her catch and returned to Crowspirit. ______________________________________

The demotion of Nightstar to Nightpaw, as well as the controversies stirred with the fellow opposing clans and internal conflict upon her own clanmates was a thing that weighed in everyone's mind, undoubtedly. While she had not enough confidence to have spoken up as everyone has during the clan's meeting then, she agreed his code-breaking needed to be punished, somehow. Shaking her head free from her thoughts, the she-cat watched as Tawnyshadow easily captured a frog between her teeth, walking back to herself in order to seek out her next hunt. Crowspirit parted in the near distance in search of her own prey, nostrils catching a whiff of a scent that was not their own. She instantly grew alerted, tail flicking sharply behind in caution. As if on cue, an owl swooped down from perch above the pine tree, talons outstretched in an attempt to claw at her ear, though she wouldn't let it fly away before she had the first attack. Balancing her weight on her two hind legs, the warrior sprung up high to bowl the creature over, claws keeping it momentarily pinned to the ground as it screeched out. "Tawnyshadow! | Tawnyshadow hissed as she heard Crowspirit's cry. She sprung forward, dropping the frog as she dug her claws into the bird. Crowspirit's attack held it just within reach, and swiftly the tortoiseshell pinned the bird down.
Tawnyshadow used Leap and Hold, dealing 8dmg and -15SP

It let out another sharp, high-pitched cry, unable to break free. Taking the opportunity, Crowspirit lunged down with her claws, slashing at the avian's wing to prevent it from flying away. | Tawnyshadow was beginning to have trouble holding down the thrashing bird. She wouldn't be able to hold it down for much longer... her claws dug into the owl's neck, crushing its neck until the bird laid still. Her yellow eyes darted to Crowspirit. "Are you alright, or should we head back to camp?" She asked, just in case the warrior had a wound she couldn't see.
