| It was time for another apprentice to receive their name this night. Nightstar lept onto the Jaggedrock swiflty, the she-cat he was about to make a warrior was the apprentice of Tigershriek. It was a big day. "All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, gather in the shadow of Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Dawnpaw bounded to the Jaggedrock. Could it be her turn to be a warrior already? Its been quite some time since she's been made an apprentice... | Tawnyshadow joined the crowd with a unreadable expression on her face. Despite the good news that Dawnpaw was going to get her warrior name, the she-cat couldn't quite muster up the strength to be happy. There was a hole in her as she watched the apprentice, which used to be small enough for her carry around, but was now nearly as big as she was. ______________________________________ |

| Tigershriek stood near the back of the crowd, not wanting to loom over his own apprentice. It was her big day, after all, it was only fitting he give her space to become her own cat. He couldn't help but be a little excited though. A new warrior was always something to celebrate, but it felt more special knowing that it was his apprentice becoming one. |

| Leopardsun joined her Clanmates, a small smile on her face. The naming of a warrior had been a rare occasion for ShadowClan for a while now, and every cat that made it long enough to come of age was something to celebrate. "I call upon all those present and watching to gaze upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of our noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Dawnpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

“You did well by her,” he murmured. “I’m proud of you.” With that, he gave the tortoiseshell a quick lick on the shoulder and turned his gaze back to the ceremony. |

| "Then it is my honor to name you a warrior before all witnesses present. Dawnpaw, from this day forward you will be known as Dawnbright. ShadowClan honors your Loyalty and Optimism, and we are proud to welcome you as a warrior in our ranks." Nightstar leaped from his position on the jagged rock, landing squarely in front of Dawnbright, he then stepped forwards and pressed his nose to her forehead. "You will be sitting vigil tonight, speak with your family, and then take your spot at the camp entrance to begin. Congratulations." Nightstar stepped away to allow the new warrior to be welcomed amongst Shadowclan as Dawnbright.

| “Dawnbright! Dawnbright!” Tawnyshadow called out the warrior’s new name. This was it. With Dawnbright all grown up, she no longer needed Tawnyshadow’s assistance, and therefore their bond as guardian and ward was over. As soon as the meeting was dismissed, the silver she-cat got it her paws and dispersed with the rest of her clanmates, leaving behind the new warrior and whatever love she once had for the kit.

| Dawnp- Dawnbright being the second apprentice she had ever taken to the Moonstone, Harrietalon wanted to be there to see it to the end. "Dawnbright! Dawnbright!!" She beamed, excited for ShadowClan's newest warrior.
Not far behind, Batswarm half-heartedly muttered: "Dawnbright." It was a joyous occasion for a new warrior: more warrior tasks he could pass off to avoid doing any work of his own. |

Dawnbright felt the tip of Nightstar's nose gently touch her forehead, declaring her a new warrior and she beamed happily. She really liked her warrior name! It seemed to suit her a lot since she is always so cheerful. Dawnbright looked around at all the cats, chanting her new name, and felt so proud of herself. I will grow to be the best warrior in Shadowclan when I grow up so I can help my clan! Dawnbright really looked forward to helping and serving her clan now that she was old enough to do so. How exciting! She had so many things to do!
