Murkyripple glanced at her sister, having finally dragged her out of camp. "Mom told me to teach you how to hunt, so that's what we'll be doing today." It was simple, brief - quick to the point. As she led her sister out, and straight to the stony hollow, she rambled on about just what to do. She mimicked the poses, her body flattening to the earth as necessary. She knew her sister would be a natural hunter like her - it'd be more than easy.

So once they got there, she motioned ahead, letting Turtlepaw take a chance at killing her choice of prey.

Her paws dragged in the dirt as she followed her sister, weary but obedient. Turtlepaw listened intently, ears and nose twitching as she took in Newleaf, wondering if she'd ever become a warrior. Nodding at the instruction, she crept forward on a mouse. It was quick to give up squeaking as she nipped into its neck, and she smiled at her sister.
