Wouldn't it be nice if we were older [Open]

Swiftheart was ready for another night of hunting, patroling and such. She woke up quickly springing to her paws. She felt better than ever right now. The snow finally all melting away and spring now in it felt pretty nice for sure! All of this nice weather was sure to have her in the best spirits possible which for her, were always very happy anyways this was just icing on the cake!

She purred loudly as she practically skipped across camp towards the exit to go catch some food with anyone who wanted to join her.

She hummed a very upbeat happy tune even as she walked along. Of all of my characters, she is by far the happiest and free spirited of them all. She invited any nearby clanmate to come with her if they wanted to.

Rookfire noticed Swiftheart bouncing to the edge of camp. Quickly following the she-cat, the black tuxedo gave her a curt nod. He wasn't nearly as energetic as she was, but he still did appreciate her energy with her. "Hey, Swiftheart!" he said, smiling at her. "You going out?" Her body language made him think that he was welcome to come along, so the black tuxedo decided to pad towards her.

Tigershriek, bored, and wanting to do anything other than sit in camp, hurried along after Rookfire to see Swiftheart. "If you are," the tom asked, soon after Rookfire, "Can I come? Nothing like hunting on a nice night." He smiled, Swiftheart's joy was infectious, and Tigershriek had always enjoyed spending time with the senior warrior.

Tawnyshadow joined the gathering crowd, her eyes bright with light-hearted joy. She greeted the three warriors warmly with a flick of her tail. She was in an unusualy good mood, and Swiftheart's cheerful voice only made it better.

"Mind if I join?" She asked politely. Turning to Tigershriek, she wondered if she should ask about Dawnpaw's training. She was Dawnpaw's gaurdian after all. But on second thought, Tigershriek was a capable warrior, and might not appreciate her sticking her nose in his business. Espescially since it's his first apprentice. Tawnyshadow settled on giving the tom a smile instead.

Swiftheart smiled as three of her good friends were gonna join her.  She gave a nod to each of them.

"Yeah! Of course you guys can all join" she purred in greeting to all of them.  All of them also seemed to be in a good mood which was great to see!

She led the way out of camp walking between her three friends. The nights were still a little cool but it was already so much nicer than winter. The arrival of spring had her much happier than even normal and it was sure to be visible just based on how she carried herself and such.  It was a great time of year and it was something she looked forward to alot.  Hmm come to think of it... had Tiger and Tawny even seen summer time yet?? they hadn't had they? The youngsters!

The good mood was accompanied by her usual talkativeness too. "Hmm I will have to show you all how to make flower crowns when the weather allows for more flowers soon.  Thalia taught me how to do it and she is really good at it!" she purred thinking about it...

"even if you don't wanna wear it, it would be a nice gift too if you rather"  Maybe Tiger, Rook and Tawny all had special someones in mind who they would give such a thing to.


Up ahead she spotted a frog.  Finally! one that wasn't frozen in the mud from winter!

"oh yay!" she whispered

She stalked it sneaking up and pounced at it!

She caught it!

She purred happily as the frog practically leaped into her own paws making a very easy catch. After a quick end for the frog she burried it for now to continue the hunt and come back for it later. She kept an eye on the rest of her patrol in case any trouble was around but she felt pretty safe with such a large party out.
