With all the clans taking refuge in Fourtrees for the foreseeable future, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get to meet some of the other cats of the forest. This was all Silverwing ever wanted from the gatherings, but with the short time limit they afforded, it was practically impossible to make lasting friendships. This however, was like an eternal gathering! She would have all day to meet new friends, and when the moon started to rise and cats started to settle down for the night, Shadowclan would be available!

It was time to start her search, and what better way than with a peace offering? It had worked well on Harechaser, which meant it would surely work on any cat that she set her sights on! With a meaningful lapwing dangling from her jaws, Silverwing scouted potential targets, scanning the crowds of cats. One cat stood out to her, or rather two? One of the two was absolutely giant, with dirty looking white fur, and a black face. That was odd, really odd, like she was wearing a mud mask that had hardened and now was impossible to remove. Despite the oddity of her look, the she-cat looked very pretty, and that fur was a bonus! The cat next to her though was a tiny, cute little thing! A mother then, and that must be her kit. With her target decided, Silverwing trotted over to the two with a slight bounce in her step. Stopping just a few tail-lengths away from the duo, Silverwing dropped her prey and greeted herself. "Hello, I'm Silverwing from Windclan! I brought you something for your adorable little kit, if you want it!" Silverwing flashed the kit a warm smile as she pushed the prey a little closer to the mother. Hopefully her gift would be appreciated, how could it not be at a time like this?

Blackbear loomed over Creamkit, watching out for predators. Of course, there were enough cats in the clearing to fight off a measly predator. Still, Creamkit remained painfully tiny, and until he grew Blackbear had to make sure nothing ate him. So far she'd been successful. Glaring at overhead hawks and giving cursory growls to the bushes around her to ward off foxes seemed to work, and Creamkit remained safe and sound between her paws.

Cats, however, were another issue. She was willing to tolerate Birdchaser, she was willing to tolerate Crookedpaw, she was even willing to tolerate Stoatpaw's frightened stares. But cats of other Clans seemed to make it their mission to drive her to murder. Whether it was casual greetings or prolonged attempts at conversation, Blackbear hated it all. A growl or hiss seemed to ward most of them off, though, so she took to hissing at everyone who came too close just in case. Silverwing was no exception, and the larger she-cat's fur bristled as she hissed. The WindClanner appeared undeterred, approaching Blackbear and Creamkit with a bird dangling from her jaws. "Stay away. I don't chat with WindClanners." She spat the word out like it had a foul taste. "Creamkit, don't eat that. Probably contaminated." She glared at Silverwing, certain she'd get the hint.

Creamkit was living his best life, happily nestled safely between Blackbear's paws. He was contently using one of her paws as a head rest, eyes watching the many Clan cats go around their business. As one approached however, he shrank a little further underneath Blackbear's stomach. His ears perked a little however at the bird that was put down and pushed in their direction. "But...I like birds," he murmured, heartbroken that he couldn't eat it. His eyes however glanced up at the she-cat with a curious tilt of his head.

"WindClan?" he repeated, before blinking. Oh, right his momma had explained the Clans bits and pieces - mostly just 'don't talk to them' while always clarifying that they were SkyClan and the Clans were different despite all being Clans. He opened his mouth to say more, but paused with a sad frown. "...Sorry, Blackbear says not to speak to the other Clans," he admitted sadly, flopping onto Blackbear's paws - even if he was kinda scared of the stranger...He couldn't deny being more curious about the other Clans.

Silverwing tilted her head at the warrior's words. "No chatting then, we can have a full conversation! What a great idea!" Silverwing purred as she sat down, ignoring the tone the other warrior had. "Don't worry, I caught that myself just a bit ago. It was supposed to go to my clan's fresh-kill pile, but your kit just looked so hungry, I couldn't resist offering it." Silverwing winked at the little kit on the massive cat's paws. Stars, that kit was just so cute, and the contrast in size between the two just made him even cuter! Grey eyes lingered on the kit before rising back to the warrior, Blackbear if she had to guess. It was odd that the kit didn't just call her some variation of "mama", but he had also just given the warrior's name without realizing it. "Blackbear, that's a really-" Erm, her usual compliment of "pretty" didn't really work with a name like that, something else then! "cool name! Super ferocious, I bet you fight like you're from Lionclan, huh?" Silverwing winked at the she-cat, adding "And you're beautiful, you must be getting approached by all the toms in your clan, and maybe outside of it too? Though, it looks like you're already taken." Silverwing's eyes fell once more on the kit as she gave him the sweetest smile she could muster. "If your mother doesn't want you to talk to other clan cats, then you can listen I suppose, though I'd love to hear your beautiful voice again!"
