Swiftheart was relived when her leader attacked the badger as well. There was no way it would lay another paw on Roseburn when both of them were here. With a blur of movement he had gotten under the beast and clawed its belly open inflicting the final blow as it came crashing down.

Swiftheart saw it go completly limp she kept half an eye on it in case it was playing any dirty tricks but as the blood pooled heavily around its belly soaking the pine-covered floor it was clear there were no tricks to be played, the badger was dead!

She wasted no time rushing to her sisters side. It was pretty bad, the badger had gotten her several times with heavy blows. Blood soaked her sisters fur and heavy claw marks were very evident. Fearfully she sniffed at her but the faintest of breathing could be seen and heard, her sister lived. Relived her fur along her back slowly laid down as Nightstar told her to run ahead and warn Fuzzybelly.

She gave one last look at her badly wounded sister who lay passed out below her. She wondered if this would be the last time she would see her alive. NO she couldnt think like that "hang in there roseburn it will be okay she whispered hoping it sounded more assured than she felt.
Nodding, she took off running back to camp while Night began to pick up their wounded warrior. She would get Fuzzybelly ready and give him as much time as possible to prepare before night got back with her.

Running as fast as she could she went charging through the marsh, no time to go around the icky puddles or around the brambly bushes she plowed through them all.

By the time she reached camp, she was a mess but she had to give Fuzzybelly as much time as possible to get ready. Her sister had been beat badly and was losing lots of blood, this was life and death.

"FUZZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" she yelled at the top of her lungs.

She darted towards the med cat den and burst in.

"Its, Roseburn, she is badly hurt and bleeding heavily. Nightstar is bringing her to you! she explained panting out of breath

"GET READY!! she snapped at him. She was usually very kind and never snappy but she had just watched a badger nearly kill her sister so she was very much so on edge.
