Rippedpaw padded into the Skyclan camp carrying a skinny squirrel he had found in the forest. It wasn't too hard for him to pick up on the Skyclan hunting techniques. While the tom couldn't leap as high to catch birds as some of his new clanmates could, he was quick and used that to his advantage. Still there wasn't much to be found out in the forest, but he brought back what he could. To his surprise, no one other than Eagleheart had stopped him from leaving camp. It was obvious the aggressive young warrior didn't trust him much and he escorted Rippedpaw out into the Skyclan territory while he hunted. Whether this was something the clan leader had requested, or just something Eagleheart decided on his own, the apprentice didn't know. However, he suspected it was just Eagleheart. Most of the cats had been friendly towards him recognizing his honesty and drive to serve the clan that offered him refuge. However, there were still some like Eagleheart that didn't trust him just because of his Windclan origins. As they entered camp, Eagleheart left him alone with out a word. They hadn't spoken a word to each other since they initially left camp and the warrior's disdain was clear. Rippedpaw saw no need to try and make friends with him, but simply followed his instructions. While Rippedpaw was slightly older than Eagleheart and his littermates, by rank, Rippedpaw was still below and respected the warriors. Eagleheart slipped into the rest of the cats hanging around camp, probably to go share his disgust about Crowstar letting the former Windclan cat into their ranks once again. Rippedpaw sighed at the thought and started towards the fresh kill pile with the squirrel hanging from his jaws. As soon he dropped it with the rest of what little prey was there, a voice surprised him and he whipped around to face the cat speaking to him.

Laying in his nest and keeping out of the cold that took over the camp, Antdrop kept his eyes closed but ears perked. Lately life had been pretty bland for SkyClan and although they had some new and somewhat unwelcomed cats from ShadowClan, he still didn't like it. How dare Crowstar allow those foxhearts into the clan? Who knew what they were capable of!

Hearing some shuffling around outside the den, the warrior lifted his head and that's when an unfamiliar scent hit his nose. WindClan?

Fur bristling and teeth bared, the tom emerged from the den to see a smaller WindClan cat standing in the clearing as if he was part of thee clan. "What are you do here?" Antdrop spat, unsheathing his claws and digging them into the icy ground bellow.

Webtail looked up from his vole, hearing the hostility in his voice. He watched closely with his mossy green eyes as he lowered his head to eat again. Rippedpaw had done great so far, plenty of support and determination. He doubted he could help Rippedpaw if Antdrop got any more hostile. Both he and Rippedpaw had more power than him, he wasn't even in the clan.

Rippedpaw flattened his ears in surprise at the straight-forward, hostile warrior. He retrained himself from unsheathing his claws and attempted to remain calm. "I believe I'm bringing back prey for the clan," He meowed smoothly looking over Antdrop.

Breezewhisker watched, detached, as his half-brother confronted Rippedpaw. The gray tabby tom didn't like the WindClan apprentice- it was hard to trust cats that abandoned their Clan for pretty much no reason other than that they were cowardly. If things escalated, he knew who he'd be rooting for, even though SkyClan didn't really need the extra tension at this point. His half-brother deserved his support.

Pineeye was about to leave for a patrol, but commotion behind him stopped him in his tracks. He watched with vague interest, amber eyes flickering between Antdrop and Rippedpaw. Usually he'd be against Antdrop, as he was so aggressive and rude, but the memory of Windclan taking over Skyclan's camp when he was a kit came to mind. 'Why are we taking in every poor soul who comes our way anyway?' Windclan was a clan he truly hated. Crowstar hadn't even been leader at the time, it was Breezestar. Did he have any clue as to what repercussions this might have on the clan? The warrior stood near the entrance, watching, waiting for something to happen.

"Bringing prey for the clan? Why would we need a WindClanner's help?" Antdrop spat at the apprentice. Why in StarClan's name would a different clan cat just randomly show up here? It wasn't only to give them prey, he was sure of that. "Are you sure there isn't more than just wanting to bring us prey?" the black tom hissed, narrowing his eyes, his fur standing on edge.

"Now, I'm just doing what my mentor asked and feeding the clan that took me in. No other motives here," He backed away a few pawsteps from the hostile tom. First Eagleheart and now this... Rippedpaw's eyes darted around camp looking for his mentor. The apprentice didn't want to get into something within the clan that had just taken him in. He especially didn't want to upset Crowstar. Where are you!? He hissed lightly, frustrated he couldn't see the leader's fluffy, black pelt among the current spectators.

"What is the meaning of this?" Crowstar's voice came from above as the leader stood high in the tree. Normally the leader didn't have any emotion apparent but it was clear this time he was angry. All of his clan watching, while an apprentice was confronted by his son. The leader jumped down from his tree, landing gracefully on the ground.

Crowstar's yellow eyes were narrowed into a dangerous glare, waiting for someone to speak their protest, or to watch them cower before him. He wouldn't have his clanmates fighting clanmates.

OOC: So I guess this means Ant isn't gonna attack Ripped 'cause yeah... he wouldn't attack a cat in front on his dad C': Guess we can save that for later RippedSky~

IC: Letting out a growl, Antdrop took a step forward, keeping his eyes on Rippedpaw. He would never trust this WindClan cat, not even if Crowstar accepted it. Crowstar... that was another issue. What did the leader think he was doing, bringing all these strange cats into the clan without asking questions?

Before Antdrop could make a move, low and behold, Crowstar arrived. Taking a step back, Antdrop turned his gaze from the apprentice and to his father, his anger not leaving his expression. "Crowstar," he started, trying to find the right words to show his anger yet not anger the leader too much. "What makes you think you should be bringing all these... traitors into the clan?" the black tom spat, meeting his father's eyes.

Cherrymist flicked her tail as she was awoken by the commotion happening outside. With a sight and a quick thought of the comfortable warm spot she had just abandonned, she made her way outside in the cold snow. She could scent her fierce uncle, Antdrop, and Rippedpaw, the apprentice they took in from WindClan. Honestly, Crowstar, we are soon going to be a bunch of mixed up cats... 


"Antdrop, please do cease this unnecesary fight." she hissed in his ear, flicking her tail over his back.

OCC: I get that. Can't have your character do what what he wouldn't. But yay rivals. Eagleheart is a hater too, so him and Antdrop are gonna be good friends.

Rippedpaw let out a sigh of relief as the Skyclan leader showed up. He didn't want to attack Antdrop, but right before the leader showed up, there seemed like a possibility of battle. The apprentice was appalled by Antdrop's words to his dad. Rippedpaw would have never spoken to Ashstar like that. Even his good bye was as respectful as he could muster while she spit venom at him. Maybe it's because they're related? He thought. His eyes widened as he watched. Stunned, he didn't know what to say and rather kept his mouth shut.

"Traitors?" Crowstar echoed. "I don't see any traitors here except for the ones that will be traitors if they attempt to harm a clan mate." The black fluffy leader moved between Antdrop and Rippedpaw. "And I didn't let Rippedpaw in on my own accord, your clan mates agreed to let him in. And you know what? Having Rippedpaw in the clan can give us an advantage over Windclan if it ever came to a confrontation." The leader wasn't up for dealing with any of this.

"Need I remind you that Windclan drove us from our home before? Oh right no of you were there. Only I was, along with Snowstorm. I will take any advantage I can get to prevent us from losing our home again. There is also the fact that Windclan is known for doing wrong for as long as I can remember, and if a cat wants to escape that then I will gladly accept him into the clan to live by the code which Windclan has a history of not doing. Proof enough of what happened between Windclan and Riverclan." The leader looked to the gathering cats around him, his anger not leaving nor his glare.

"If any of you have an issue with my choice, then you can fight me instead of taking it out on Rippedpaw." The leader growled. He wouldn't bring up the fact that no of them besides the other clan cats they took in were clan blooded. The last of the blood died with Silentstar, they were nothing but a band of rogues anyway.

Oceanlight sat and stared at Antdrop in amusement. "When we bring in a cat from another clan, we get not only numbers, but we can understand our enemies traits and strategies. That gives us a decent advantage." she said, siding with Crowstar.

Looking from Crowstar, to Rippedpaw, and to a few other clanmates, the tom's gaze fell back on his father. Accepting other clan cats into their clan, all they were now was a band of misfits! Barely any pure SkyClan blood, just a bunch of exiles.

"You're all mousebrains! If you can't see what all exiles and cowards are doing to our clan and our reputation, then good luck later on when all of our dignity is lost!" Antdrop spat in rage at Crowstar. With that, the warrior stomped out of the camp and into the forest, hoping to let off some steam by hunting. Letting these cats into the clan, they weren't following the code and Crowstar was too soft.

Fools, they were all fools.
