Hardly days had passed since Asterpaw had been apprenticed, and Crimsonflame had disappeared from the Clan once again. She was sure the tom had his reasons, but thinking about it still made Birdchaser's tail flick with irritation. The poor apprentice probably hadn't even seen all their borders yet, and he was already getting a new apprentice. Sighing, the deputy yowled, "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree, gather beneath the Tallbranch for a Clan meeting!"
