Nightstalker lead the young apprentice into Shadowclan territory, intending on teaching the young cat a little bit about how to fight. Shadowclan's leader had concerns that since all the clans knew they were weak, they wouldn't have any courtesy to allow them to take time to rebuild and recover, and would want to run them out of the territory or take some of their hard-won territories. The Pine Grove was the best place for hunting, but they were here to learn how to fight, or rather, Sablepaw was here to learn to fight. Despite being typically the driest place on the territory, it was still muddy and wet, but it was still an alright place to learn.

"Sablepaw, today we will be learning a little bit about how to fight. With Shadowclan at a disadvantage, it will be an important skill to learn, even at its most basic." Nightstalker began as he lead them into a decently sized clearing. The young leader sat back on his haunches and started swiping at the air, "This is the Front Paw Blow and Strike. The only difference is that your strike has claws. When you're performing these moves, you want to put as much strength into your swipes as you can, while extending your claws as far as they can go. The more unsheathed your claws, the deeper and more vicious the wounds. Copy what I did and give it a shot."

Sablepaw followed closely behind Nightstalker, matching the warrior's pace. His apprentice ceremony had felt like a dream. He had waited patiently for this, enduring six moons that had seemed to last an eternity, in a camp that was not his. While his clan was scattered and taking refuge in the Thunderclan and Skyclan camps, Sablepaw had been unable to support them. Things were different now, he would never be a burden to his clan again.

Sablepaw listened intently to his mentor. He had expected to learn how to hunt first, though this was a pleasant surprise. Following Nightstalker's directions, Sablepaw sliced at the air with unsheathed claws. "Seems simple enough."

"That'll do." Nightstalker meowed, padding around his apprentice and looking at the terrain and then back to his apprentice. "One of Shadowclans signature moves is called Mud slap. With your paw, take a scoop of mud, and with your arm sling it at your opponents eyes. Aiming takes a bit of practice, but once you get it, you've got it." Nightstalker meowed, taking his paw and scooping mud into it before forcibly slinging it against a tree with an audible wet slap.

Nightstalker used Mud slap. Air is stunned for one turn. Deals 7 Damage +1 Night finesse buff, and costs 7 Stamina.
