Note: These are not mandatory, and have no time limit. Names will be shuffled and changed on the 1st of every month, so if you would like to continue participating then please post your sign-ups before the shuffle! The purpose of this is to fill your requirements, while also stretching your roleplay horizons and having your character interact with characters they have not yet had a chance to. Some tasks will change and reflect what is happening in ShadowClan currently.
Leopardsun sat at the base of the Jaggedrock, the same place she'd had for what felt like ages now. There was always something that needed to be done.
Warrior Tasks Some tasks are dangerous, or otherwise require experience.
Warrior Tasks:
Predator Pursuit Leopardsun has spotted something suspicious in the territory, and requested that a few warriors investigate with her. Maximum of 3 volunteers.
Day Guards Pairs of cats are needed to guard ShadowClan's borders during the daylight hours. While dangerous, taking this position could potentially curry favor with Nightstar. Maximum of 2 volunteers per border (Hidden Outcropping & Thunderpath).
Sentry Duty As the center and the heart of ShadowClan’s life, the camp can’t be left unguarded. Maximum of 2 volunteers.
Deep Marsh Hunting The deeper part of the marsh can be a dangerous place, but ShadowClan warriors are taught to follow secret paths below the surface. It’s a good place for hunting, if you know what you’re doing. Maximum of 3 volunteers.
Warrior & Apprentice Tasks For the most part, these are general tasks that maintain the daily life of ShadowClan.
Warrior & Apprentice Tasks:
Joint Training Session Apprentices are taught by their mentors, but there’s worth to be found in an exchange of knowledge.Training with another mentor or apprentice can be a valuable experience! Maximum of 2 mentors and 2 apprentices.
Nursery Duty Queens deserve rest too! A trusted clanmate watching over their kits for a while can allow them some much-needed rest. Maximum of 2 volunteers.
Herb Gathering It’s always good to have extra herbs, and with the end of greenleaf fast approaching it’s important to plan ahead. Maximum of 3 volunteers.
Stealth Contest Nightstalker wants to ensure that ShadowClan is brushing up on their skills, and has prepared a competition for that purpose. Maximum of 6 volunteers.
Apprentice Tasks Apprentices are expected to perform a number of duties around camp.
Apprentice Tasks:
Treating The Elders The elders often end up with ticks and fleas, and it’s the solemn duty of an apprentice to carefully check for and treat them.
Sparring A good way to test battle training, sparring pits two apprentices against each other. Maximum of 2 apprentices; 1 warrior to supervise preferred.
Patrols Hunting patrols fill the fresh-kill pile, while border patrols ensure that no clan is pushing their boundaries.
Patrols:
Dusk Patrol Open to apprentices and warriors. Maximum of 3 volunteers.
Moonhigh Patrol Open to apprentices and warriors. Maximum of 3 volunteers.
Dawn Patrol Open to apprentices and warriors. Maximum of 3 volunteers.
Hunting Patrol Open to apprentices and warriors. Maximum of 4 volunteers.
Hunting Patrol Open to apprentices and warriors. Maximum of 4 volunteers.
Lostfanboy and I had already arranged to spar prior to this over PM, so if there’s any way I can appoint Honeypaw for that even though he’s not mine, we did already agree on it and they’re waiting for me to make the topic.
