Not Were I Want to Be [Open]

Echomist had settled in a spot in the corner of the Skyclan camp. Ever since they arrived here he had claimed the little spot for himself knowing that Skyclan wouldn't have any room in there dens. The spotted tom had slowly recovered, scratches and wounds had closed up and scabbed over, but one thing that had a hard time healing was his foot. He hated it.

Because of his foot being injured, he couldn't hunt. He couldn't help his clan earn their keep for Skyclan's hospitality. Of course he tried to move around as best as he could but there was now way he could hunt. So he mostly kept to camp for now, hoping that one day soon Froststar would take them home. Skyclan's help was nice, but he was already uncomfortable with cats of his own clan, now for him to be around another clan? Hopefully Leopardsun was doing better with this whole situation than he was.

A young brown and white kit stared out from the nursery at the massive cat. Every time he had seen this particular cat, it was always in the same spot. He knew that warriors would hunt for the clan, but this one seemed to never leave with any of the other cats that would come back with food. Perplexed by the situation, the young kit left the nursery. He tried creeping up on the warrior, sticking to the more densely shadowed parts of camp. Perhaps he could overhear something that the cat would say, uncover why he was always sitting in the same spot, why he never left the camp, something to ease this consuming curiosity. With each step forward the warrior seemed to grow larger and larger, before he finally stopped just short of the gigantic cat. The sheer size of the cat left the little bundle of fur in awe. Forgetting his plan of sneaking up on the warrior, the young kit breathlessly mewed "You're... Huge!"
