April 2022 “Medicine Cat Meeting”

Dovefrost settled into his nest for the night, while he wanted to keep working, just to do something with his time, there was nothing left to be done. The large white tom curled in on himself tightly, his fluffy tail almost touching the tip of his nose. He hoped he dreamed tonight. He wanted to. He hoped Starclan would show themselves again. He wouldn't give up hope, he couldn't give up hope.

Reedshine watched his former clanmate appear in front of him. "Greetings, Dovefrost," he mewed, though his eyes were strangely cold. he could still remember the secrets he brought to the grave. had he known he would die so soon, he would have told one of his siblings. but never mind that.

"I've brought to you a message," he continued after a short pause. the tortoiseshell-and-white tom looked into the medicine cat's eyes. his own pale blue eyes glowed and his ears pinned to the back of his head. Reedshine hissed, "The walls are crumbling, hope peeking through the cracks. Five cats of strong faith and determination, one from each corner of the clans, is needed to break the shackles that bind them. Choose wisely, for this is our final stand."

Dovefrost perked up as Reedshine had approached him. He had gotten used to seeing some of the spirits around the territories and the camp. It was strange to see the spirits here and not in Starclan like he was used to.

The white tom expected nothing from the spirit of his former clanmate, but the familiar voice graced his ears. "Cats of strong faith..?" The large white tom echoed. What exactly did this mean? Someone who still had faith in their ancestors? What did they need to do? "What does that mean?" He asked, knowing he wasn't likely to get an answer.

Reedshine signed and shook his head. he couldn't give his former clanmate any answers, even if he wanted to. "that's for you to find out. we can only guide your paws, but you have to move them first," he answered flatly.
