achelois' apprentice ceremony

It seemed like he had just been standing upon this very rock just a few heartbeats ago, but here he was. Kits grew, mentors were needed, and he was tasked with organizing them all. Wasting no time, he spoke out the call. "Let all cats of Thunderclan gather below Highrock for a clan meeting-" As he waited, he glanced up at the late sundown sky, and back at his clanmates.

Reedpaw settled down and wrapped his tail around his paws. he glanced lazily at Minnowfin. what now?

Mottlerose carried herself over to the Highrock, looking towards Minnowfin with a smile upon her maw. It was time for yet another apprentice to join the den, and she was rather excited to witness it.

Truthfully, Achelois had very little understanding of exactly why these proceedings were happening.

It had all happened so incredibly quick, like the rising of a blood-borne fever: one moment she had happened upon a stranger while out carving distance between herself and her father, the next a moon or so had already eclipsed with exceptionally little preamble. Often, she vacillated between enjoying the disorganized melding with an artificial pleasantness and staring wistfully after drifting birds circling high above. Sharp ears rising to a pert point of attention, Achelois paused in her idle wanderings at the sudden flexing of Minnowfin's summons, unusual pale gaze shaded with curiosity.

Without hesitation, the young deputy continued. "Achelois, you are ready to train with a Thunderclan mentor and it is time you received your clan name. Until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Loonpaw. Stoatstar will be your mentor." The clan was rather sparse in their cheering for this cat, which was of course, understandable. Though the clan was not one of the most welcoming, Stoatstar had allowed her to stay and he would do his best to help her feel at home. For now, however, it was back to duties.

He'd expected it - that he would train this she-cat. Admittedly, the leader was prepared for her to constantly infuriate him as they trained but it was intrigue that had drawn him to training her. As a clan name was giving, Stoatstar gave one short cheer before approaching her, "We'll start tomorrow but not before sunrise. I look forward to seeing if you can keep up, Loonpaw."
