OOC: The title topic is apart of a series of topics that im sure is easily recognizable to see the pattern :) bit of an easter egg, my favorite title topic is this one... saving the best for last? perhaps so, or maybe the best paired with the best ;)
OOC pt 2: Birthday post :) all of my characters are getting special birthday posts, this is Swifthearts,  Swiftheart has also recently reached tier 3 warrior, so its really fun timing with my birthday so this topic has to to with that I guess... im also writing it at like 3 am XD so it might be kinda sloppy or not make total sense

Swiftheart purred quietly to herself a little song. She walked along in the snow covered landscape, the tall pines surrounding her and the marshy land mostly frozen completely over.  Her wounds from the battle with the forgotten order were now completely healed and she felt amazing, better than ever in fact.

She rolled her shoulders a couple of times stretching, she felt stronger than ever right now, confidence and happiness filled her as she walked along.

She felt like she had learned so much since she was an apprentice, ... for that matter even since she became a warrior even. She walked along slowly looking at the peaceful forest her breath showed clearly in the cold crisp air.  She felt awesome, filled with power and energy. The nice walk without rush or worry was comforting, it was calming really.

Every now and then she remembered to befriend the little things of life

She looked around for possible prey to hunt.

she was near the thunderpath that separated thunderclan from Shadowclan  (on the shadowclan side of course)(lets say somewhere between 14 and 15 on the site map)

This night was so fine, she thought of how the thunderpath got its name it was quite odd name really... hmm perhaps it should have been called the thundow path as it was the official border between the two clans, given that the name it had was already arbitrary enough it seemed to make sense.

She enjoyed how familiar her territory, it was comforting indeed, the she knew the signs, for sure, for sure it felt as if the marsh was holding her paw guiding her along, here she felt safe, here she felt at home.

Deerleap was trying to teach herself to climb trees. it was a much-needed skill to learn, and could very much save her life one day. a pity most shadowclan cats didn't bother learning the art of leaping from branch to branch, as if soaring through the night sky, feeling the rush of wind in your ear fluff, and the vast night sky that looked close enough for you to leap up and burst through into Starclan as if it was merely a water surface.

the warrior was just enjoying a night like this when she noticed a white shape through the branches. she slid down a few branches to check if it was not anything dangerous, and signed with relief when she recognized the white pelt of Swiftheart. the warrior hopped off the branch and landed gracefully beside the white warrior. "Boo!" she said as she landed square on Swiftheart's shoulders.

Swiftheart jumped as something smacked into her.

"dhhaaaaaaa gaaaaa!!!" she yelped not sure what it was that just landed on her. She squirmed around quickly trying to figure out what had just even happened.

It took her a while to realize it was Deerleap.

Breathing heavy still from the shock she sighed... "Wow... you got me good there!" she purred.

she looked up at the tree than back at Deerleap... "Pretending to be a skyclan cat?" she giggled asking her tilting her head.

Deerleap felt heat spread under her pelt. Skyclan cat? was she that good? it was just for fun! she gave herself a few embarrassed licks before turning back to her former mentor. "are you ok? you seem distracted..." she murmured, not too sure if she was insulting the older warrior.

Swiftheart did not feel insulted at all. She giggled, "hmm yeah I guess you could say im pretty distracted" she admitted. She had been kinda off her gaurd there and Deerleap had done a good job of surprising her... luckily it was deerleap and not an enemy or she could have really been sneaked up on there.

"So... how is warrior life so far?" she said with a big smile very happy for her.

"You get a good nest next to Sootwisker?" she said in a whisper giggling a little teasing Deerleap playfully giving her a wink.

Deerleap gave Swiftheart a questioning glance at her question. Sootwhisker? sure, he had a nest close to hers. her mind wandered back to the warrior who had helped her build her nest, which was right next to his. she licked herself, pushing down the bits of fur jutting out from embarrassment with rough licks. Loudnose was quite a handsome tom, if she had to admit it.

"Next to Loudnose, if you must know," she said, though she was examining the snow under her paws.

Swiftheart nodded hmm her brother. Who was even more talkative than herself... which was saying something to be sure.

She noticed her short response and the looking at her paws so she didnt push the topic, Deerleap might not want to talk about that.

Thinking quickly of a different topic she began "hmm I cant wait for all this snow to melt and finally have some newleaf" she mentioned casually as she walked along next to her friend happily.

Deerleap paused. "W-what is Newleaf like?" she asked softly. since she was a kit, all Deerleap had ever seen was snow. the most she heard of Newleaf was from the senior warriors, who had seen many seasons. the thought sort of scared her.
