Copperpaw's Moonstone Journey

Finally.. More apprentices getting close to being warriors. It made the medicine cat happy, but he knew they all had to go to the Moonstone, just like he had done before earning his warrior name. With a bundle of herbs nearby he called the apprentice out of their den. "Copperpaw it's time for your Journey." Once the apprentice had pulled himself out of the den, Dovefrost directed the tom. "Eat those, and then we can get going." The large tom said, gesturing to the herbs with his paw.

The long journey had felt even longer this time. Probably due to the cold and the wind, but relief was found as soon as they entered into Mothermouth. The cavern, even though it was cold, sheltered them from the harsh wind. Dovefrost sat off to the side. "Press your nose to the Moonstone, and Starclan will claim you."

When Copperpaw had fallen asleep the night before he knew that he had a long journey the next morning to the moonstone. This was one of the final steps he had to take to become a warrior of ThunderClan. He had been brought into ThunderClan as a kit who had got lost deep into the forest when he decided to explore the forest out of curiosity. He was in a dream playing with his brother who had passed before Copperpaw first wondered into the forest, when suddenly he heard Dovefrost's voice signaling that it was time for his journey to the moonstone to begin.

"It's time?, Copperpaw asked excitedly. He saw the herbs every apprentice took before traveling to the moonstone that Dovefrost sat beside him. He held his breath to attempt to block the taste a bit before quickly lapping them up. After eating the herbs, he followed Dovefrost out of camp, feeling a cold breeze rush by them causing him to shiver.

Finally after traveling what felt like a long ways, he had walked through the tunnel that lead him to the brightly glowing stone. He sneezed before laying down and pressing his nose to the cold stone, drifting off into a dream.

A tall molly with long fur and amber eyes looked upon the figure that had materialized in Starclan before her. The kit she had found with Minkstar... Copperpaw. It was good to see him, it meant he'd be a warrior soon enough. Starry terrain was in the form of forests, of a gently bubbling river nearby and the sounds of the breeze swaying the trees. It was just like Thunderclan... except she could do without the water. Prodding the form before her, Wolfblaze smirked. "Hey kit, wake up! I've gotta give you knowledge or something."

He had come far, and soon it would be his turn to carry on Thunderclan's legacy like she had, and all other warriors before him had. They all had a tough road ahead, the least she could do was try to help.

Copperpaw woke up feeling soft prodding on his fur. He opened his eyes to see a clear, starry view and the form of a gray cat with amber eyes standing in front of him. Wolfblaze. The cat that found me lost in the forest, and brought me into the clan with Minkstar. Copperpaw thought to himself before speaking, "Wolfblaze! Do you remember me? Copperpaw asked the former Thunderclan, now StarClan cat.
