June Gathering 2021

Quickly and quietly, Ivystar made her way into the gathering with her Clan trailing behind her. Gatherings had very quickly grown old, and this one was certainly no different. They’d become a time for bad news and drama, which led to general distrust between the leaders and their Clans, and an impending sense of dread accompanied the fluffy silver leader every single time her tired paws made the trek to the clearing. Despite that, she upheld the tradition and went every moon. This time, she was far from in the mood for any petty remarks or distasteful comments. With her head held high and tail waving behind her, she pushed trough to the clearing and made a beeline for the rock. Jumping up, she took her place and waited silently for the rest of the Clan leaders to join her.

SkyClan was the second to arrive at Fourtrees. Wolfstar had wasted no time in leading the others here - he wanted to get in, and get out. He had more important things to deal with than exchange trivialities with the other clans. Parting with Blossomstep halfway through the clearing, he twined his tail with hers for a second before taking a running leap up on to the Great Rock. Claws scraping stone, he made it up beside Ivystar, and settled back on to his haunches, regarding RiverClan's leader with the briefest of nods before sweeping his gaze back across the clearing.

Bearspirit followed after Ivystar until she put herself on the great rock. Once she had, he separated from her path and took a seat on the front of the warriors of Riverclan. He watched as Skyclan entered the gathering as well, but he made no move to go speak to anyone. He had grown somewhat into his paws and ears, but he still looked more like a cheetah than a domestic feline. He was more self-conscious about his appearance than he expected to be. All of the other warriors looked at least proportionate... maybe except for one of the warriors in Skyclan... a tall skinny guy that cowered around most of the time. His ears were huge at least, but unfortunately it did little to give Bearspirit any real relief.

Bloodstrike hadn't wanted to come to this gathering... but he had. Any other minor slight on tradition might have Wolfstar clawing his hind end off. The deputy took his place at the base of the rock and waited for the other deputies to arrive. Loonwhisper ought to show up soon, as Ivystar had already climbed the great rock. He plopped his haunches down and wrapped his tail around his paws with a sigh. The faster this was over with, the better.

Nightwolf slowly padded into Fourtrees, his usual skip in his step, not there. Despite it being several moons since his father died, the death lingered over him. It was his father for Starclan's sake! A cat he'd known ever since he was a little baby kit. How could it not effect him?

A soft, shaky sigh escaped him, as he sat down, near the edge of the currently gathered cats. He wasn't sure if he wanted this gathering over quickly or not.


Stepping into the gathering, she nervously glanced around, searching for Rosethorn. She really didn't want to go to this gathering, but she still wanted to see Rosethorn. Something about seeing the Shadowclan she-cat, made her feel all warm and fuzzy. Her ears slightly drooped down, as Shadowclan was no where sight. T-They should come soon! She reminded herself, as her ears flicked back up again.

OOC: Nightwolf is open to talk to, but he may be a bit sadge right now. Quietstep/Herbo Deliah(the name her Asylum dad gave her) is looking for Rosethorn, but is open to a bit of small talk from other cats!

Lilacstar stepped into the clearing, hesitating slightly as she stepped away from Amberfluff and made her way to the Great Rock. Such a lovely night was so misleading, considering she was sure that something was going to go down. Perhaps tonight she would simply resign to silence until she was called upon to speak. She really was not in the mood for any drama tonight. But then again, drama didn't really care, did it?

Tawnyflare slunk into the clearing, walking beside Fawnstep, but with a little bit of distance as well. He had said he wanted kits before, but was she truly fit to be a mother? No. Definitely not. The RiverClan cat was proof of that. It was funny, thinking that her own son ended up in the Clan that wanted nothing to do with her. Along with her sister. If that wasn't a sign, she didn't know what was.

Lilacstar and Tawnyflare are open to talk to. Rosethorn has not yet arrived.

Birdsong trailed after Wolfstar and Bloodstrike alongside her fellow Skyclan warriors as they filed into fourtrees. She glanced around at the other cats that had already arrived, Riverclan it looked like, and Windclan was just on Skyclan's heels. The slender gray tabby settled quietly near the base of one of the great oaks, silently hoping there wouldn't be any drama for once.

Beechface meanwhile, took up a position near the medicine cats' usual spot, though it didn't seem as though any of her fellow medicine cats had made it over just yet. The lack of their presence meant she wouldn't have to socialize just yet, or she hoped so, at least.

Swiftspirit padded into fourtrees, giving Tawnyflare's ever-brooding, ever-miserable form a wide berth as she followed Lilacstar into the clearing. Riverclan and Skyclan were already present, it seemed, and Swiftspirit couldn't help a small smirk at spotting Bearspirit among the growing crowd, and picked a spot nearby to sit.

Dayspring enjoyed arriving to Fourtrees early. Being the third Clan to arrive meant that there was a brief amount of time where the clearing wasn't at full capacity, and perhaps there would be the slightest bit of quietness before the noises and scents of all five clans began to settle in. Routinely, she had spent a fair amount of time grooming every bit of fur she could manage to reach, for being unpresentable in front of the high ranks of other Clans would only result in embarrassment for the rest of the night. Gatherings were never amazing, but she supposed that any cat that preferred tranquility over a commotion wouldn't  see attending Gatherings as the greatest activity in the entire world. However, the weather that night held peace. The breeze seemed to calm her nerves as she padded over to the deputy spot underneath the renowned rock and gave a polite nod to Bloodstrike. All Dayspring could do was silently hope that the calmness would stick throughout the entire Gathering.

There was a huff as Flintstar padded into the clearing, realizing that for once, he was one of the last Clans to arrive. Hm. He gave his head a shake, padding over to join the other leaders. He gave a nod to the three gathered leaders, pausing for a moment as he thought about bringing up matters with one or two of them but...To be honest, Flintstar didn't really want nor care to waste words if it was not needed so he took his spot without a word. If they wanted to share words before the Gathering started - it would be upon them to bring up the matter first. Otherwise, Flintstar just wanted to get this done and over with so he could return to cuddling with his mate.

Every full moon, Shrikestorm and Ravenclaw padded into the Gathering with their respective clans. Ravenclaw would sit with Wrenspring, or perhaps with another of her dozen relatives. As for Shrikestorm, he would usually sit alone, near his clan but not really with them.

Ravenpaw followed after Flintstar into Fourtrees, looking around as they entered. She was shocked to see where the Gatherings took place, as it was her first one. She hadn't yet met anyone in other clans yet, but as she had been training, the she-cat's uneasiness around strange cats had begun to lessen. After she began to move further into the area, she realized her clan had split up, and instead she sat, looking around for any familiar cats.

Moonshine padded after Flintstar and entered Fourtrees. She looked bright and chipper... though she had just woke up from a long day of great sleep. There was one cat that she wanted to talk to, but he was probably still lingering in the back of Shadowclan. She sat down calmly and quietly and waited for Batglow to catch up.

Fawnstep noted the way that Tawnyflare lagged ever so slightly. Something had been going on with the she-cat, but he did not want to pry. Settling down on his haunches, the tom found a quiet place not far from Shrikestorm. Despite their lack of familiarity, Fawnstep found his clanmate to be an admirable warrior. Maybe sometime they could chat during a patrol or sharpen their claws in free time. Such thoughts were far more amusing than mingling with cats from all clans. Gatherings weren't too particularly bad but the reminder of this hallowed and haunted place certainly was. Here there was no way to show his skills, not when threatened peace would be quickly condemned by the stars above.

Ashstorm walked into the gathering.  Honestly, she didn't really care or have a plan for what to do.  If Sneezingpaw was open to talking with her then of course she'd go talk to her daughter, but she didn't know if she would be.  She definitely wasn't as excited to be there as the first time she went to a gathering.  All she did was wait to see who else would come.

Shira walked in Fourtrees, staying near those that she knew.  She wasn't that social of a cat, but maybe she'd be able to see some of the other kits she grew up with there.  That was one thing that she did look forward to when going to gatherings.  Not all of the many cats or the loud meows of cats as everyone tried to talk over one another.  She just liked to see the cats that she grew up with.  They all went to different places, which of course she felt that they had the right to go wherever they want, but it was still sort of hard for an unsocial cat like her to have those she grew up with all go to different places.  But now she was here, and she hoped that the rest of the other cats she grew up with were too.

Tornshadow had followed in with the rest of Skyclan, her tail hanging a bit low. She didn't really like gatherings all too much. Sometimes it was a touch too noisy for her. The gold and white warrior shuffled forward, her expression perking up as soon as she saw that Riverclan was here already. Was Dewlight here? She had been wondering how the Riverclan warrior was doing after their fight with the fox so maybe.. just maybe she could find her again. Azure eyes began scanning the crowd looking for her new friend.

Batglow followed after his clan. Pea and Vea lingering in the back of his mind greatly. He hoped that Pea would keep her promise, but it didn't help any that the idea of Vea being close ate at him. He didn't really even notice as they reached the gathering area. The tall lanky black tom paused in his steps at the edge of the clearing. Eyes scanning the clearing. As much as he wanted to find Hayglow, he wasn't in the mood. Instead his eyes landed on a familiar pelt. With a small grin he moved forward. He plopped himself right next to Moonshine, giving her a playful nudge, trying to take his mind off of his family. "Waiting on someone?"
