There never seemed to be a dull moment in WindClan as far as naming new apprentices went, which, of course, was a wonderful thing. The smile on her maw proved that she was in a particularly good mood today for a reason that she didn’t even know herself. At least it helped to erase those typical public speaking nerves that she held in her chest. “May all cats old enough to run the moor gather beneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!"
Eleos blinked as someone's voice rang across camp, calling for a clan meeting. She hesitantly took a spot near the edge of the crowd, mindful that while plenty of the Windclanners seemed quite friendly, there were several who weren't so happy to see her in camp. Still, she had found herself wanting to stay, regardless. Lilacstar and Softbreeze had been kind enough to allow it, and with other cats around Eleos had found herself in a better mood than she had been recently.
Pale blue eyes watched the clan deputy curiously. Would this be her apprentice ceremony? She was certainly older than any of the kits in the nursery, but while Eleos found that she was looking forward to it, she was nervous, too.

Shyfawn sat at the entrance of the nursery, watching Eleos with shiny ocean blue eyes. She knew Softbreeze had been happy that Eleos had stayed, and Shyfawn quite liked the little molly. She was polite and kind, if a but unsure of herself. Giving the small tabby a nod, she mouthed 'You'll do great!'
Softbreeze purred softly as she padded up to Eleos. "Are you nervous?" She asked, concern in her eyes, and love in her mew. She'd been joyous when Eleos has decided she'd like to stay, and she knew Dayspring would choose only the best mentor for her.

"Eleos, please step forward.” Dayspring peered down at the young she-cat as she spoke. Today would be the day that she took on a new name, a Clan one. "Eleos, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Swiftpaw. Your mentor will be Tawnyflare."
Shyfawn caught Eleos' eye briefly, and the pointed she-cat offered the older queen a timid smile of thanks. Softbreeze padded over, and Eleos nodded at the question. "A bit." She disliked that it seemed rather... obvious to the medicine cat. Eleos wasn't used to others being able to read her emotions, though she'd definitely let her guard slip a bit while in Windclan's camp. Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing, after all. She gave her chest fur another quick lick before turning back towards the clan deputy.
At her name, Eleos stepped forward. She wasn't quite sure if she needed to do anything beyond that, but it seemed like she just needed to stand and listen to the deputy speak. She was given a new name- Swiftpaw, and a mentor. Tawnyflare. Eleos kept her expression carefully neutral. She'd heard the name around camp a time or two, but had yet to interact with the cat in question. And she was going to be her mentor? Well, she supposed that she couldn't stay glued to Softbreeze and Shyfawn's side forever, either.
As Silverpaw sat and watched a new apprentice ceremony begin, his mind began to wander for a bit. Silver didn't know much about Eleos, only her name and that she wasn't from WindClan, but in all honesty, he thought that was pretty cool. He enjoyed seeing new faces and eventually getting to know the owners better. As he promised himself, he was going to support all his peers and will try his best to offer his friendship. He knows that it won't always work but at least he could try. Never hurts to.
The silver tabby snapped his attention back from his thinking and anxiously waited for the end of the ceremony. He was eager to know Eleos' apprentice name and her mentor. He'd usually try to guess these things but today, he wanted to be fully surprised. No matter who she'd be training under, they'll surly shape her up to be a great WindClan warrior.
As soon as everyhting had been revealed and the new mentor and apprentice duo touched noses, Silverpaw sprang up and briskly walked over to 'Swiftpaw' and Tawnyflare and gave them both a grin. "Congrats Eleos! Swiftpaw is a cool name. I like it! I hope we can get to know each other better now that you're an apprentice. Also, you'll be a great mentor, Tawnyflare!" With that, the tom smiled at them one last time before bounding away to find Quailpaw.
