As quickly as his claws had lashed out at the tabby, she was bounding past him, scrambling up a tree... She was Skyclan, of course, and clearly knew how to handle herself in a fight. Her weight sent Mistyfalcon sprawling, the pair rolling across the forest floor until the Skyclanner had him pinned with sheathed claws. She spoke, and Mistyfalcon could see the sense in her words. Talk sense into Bloodstrike... The tom that had gone after Moonshine first, he assumed.

"I don't think this needs to escalate more than it already has. If I might ask, who exactly was Moonshine mistaken for? My only experience with you lot was when one of your warriors thought my ear was fresh-kill." Mistyfalcon definitely wasn't still annoyed by that encounter at fourtrees, though it seemed so long ago now. As far as he knew, Moonshine looked nothing like any of his other clanmates, and didn't resemble any cat he'd met before. That Bloodstrike had attacked without any provocation on her part just based off of a quick glance... Well, Mistyfalcon would like to make sure that didn't happen again.

Birdsong continued to pummel at the Shadowclanner, though her ears caught Blossomstep's words. "I wouldn't have attacked you if things hadn't gone sideways. Looks like those two are trying to be sensible." She muttered apologetically to the Skyclanner she'd pinned, who, she realized belatedly, hadn't been struggling much.

Bloodstrike winced as claws raked against his belly. He backpedaled with a hiss before he lurched forward again, aiming to bury his claws into Murkystrike's side. "I know that," He growled, his adrenaline making him sound far more angry than he was. "I admit my mistake, but I have no intention of just backing out of here now." At the mention of a Skyclanner mistaking an ear for freshkill, Bloodstrike was immediately concerned. Who was that? "I thought she was Dawnhawk. He's her father, and my son. He's been exiled from Skyclan and he's dangerous. A kill on sight order has been issued by Wolfstar if he is found on our territory again."

Moonshine couldn't do much from where she was. The Skyclanner had her pinned. Once she saw an opening to get away however, Moonshine took it. Unfortunately it was all she was able to do for the moment. "Then stop attacking me!" She spat, aggravated at this entire situation just for a mistaken identity. The giant striped tom then announced what exactly was going on with Dawnhawk. She'd known that he had been exiled... but a kill on sight order??? For what? For being part of the Asylum? It was extreme... and she hated it.

"You're my grandfather then... Is this how Skyclan operates? One cat puts a toe out of line and you just kill them?" She growled. Her eyes went back to her opponent. Suddenly she wasn't in a negotiating mood...

Tornpaw didn't really know what to say in response to the cat she had pinned. Didn't know how to feel about any of this. She didn't like what Bloodstrike said about Dawkhawk, and she had to agree with Moonshine. She didn't think any of it was warranted but everyone in the clan would disagree. "Maybe some other time. I don't ever agree with what my clan does most of the time." She kept the other apprentice pinned, not wanting to risk letting her go.
