Are You Good, Are You Bad? [CLOSED]

The Fourtrees was a peculiar choice of destination for a walk, especially one that was completely random. Then again, that meant the place was likely to be less filled with cats. Gatherings are probably the only time when cats crowd this place. As Willowdance trotted in, head high and steps light, she noted how quiet this place was without the bustling of cats. In this instance, it was beneficial to her. Willowdance truly never thought she would see the day where she wanted to be alone, but as it turns out even the most extroverted people have to take breaks from socialising with large groups, and this was one of those instances.

Glancing up at the four oaks surrounding the clearing, Willowdance wondered what it would be like to scale one of them. They looked sturdy, and since they had stayed there for a long time, Willowdance doubted they would fall now. Besides, she was quite light. This should be fine. Worst comes to worst, she could jump down-her ability at landing on her feet was pretty good.

Aiming for one of the trees, Willowdance began to climb up it, claws digging into the tree's side.

Dawnhawk had rolled and rolled and rolled in dirt and grass and everything imaginable trying to shed his fur as fast as possible. It had been a week since he attacked Smokefeather. He took many trips to the river during that time, bathing himself in it and grooming himself vigorously trying to clear away as many loose black stained hairs that he could. He had made more progress, and at the moment looked more like Dawnhawk than Nightwind. He had some black patches on his legs, his rump and a section at the end of his tail with some scattered tiny spots along the rest of him. He was probably 30% black and the rest was the ivory and gold colored Dawnhawk.

His skin had certainly suffered a bit from his furious grooming, and he could tell, but if it aided in faster shedding then he was all for it. He was dry and itchy. Not severely, but enough that he could tell that his skin wouldn't be able to handle this much abuse for much longer.

The filthy looking Dawnhawk eventually gave up on rolling in the dirt and grass and began to make his way toward Fourtrees. He'd spend the night in one of the great oaks, knowing that Skyclan was likely scouring Twoleg place as well as their territory looking for him by now. So be it. The more they spread their forces the weaker they were, and Dawnhawk was very confident in his ability to fight two of almost any of Skyclan's warriors and come out on top.

The wind suddenly blew in his face from Fourtrees... and he picked up the scent of Skyclan. His fur bristled and he started to stalk carefully forward. Had they honestly sent patrols all of the way out to Fourtrees looking for him? Or worse... were they on their way to Windclan? He forced that thought away. There was no way they had any idea he was in Windclan. Even Windclan didn't know he was among them. He didn't have the scent of the moor on him at all, not with how much he bathed and groomed and the fact that he hadn't been on the moor much lately.

Once he reached the edges of Fourtrees, he spotted Willowdance. She was climbing one of the great oaks... and he wondered if Skyclan actually had been smart enough to start searching for him there. He inhaled deeply again and parted his maw to try to pick up even the faintest scent of another individual in the area. Alas... it seemed that Windwillow and him were alone.

Too bad for you, love. He crept forward as if stalking a squirrel. She seemed fairly focused on scaling the great oak... and that was fine with him. He closed the distance quickly, combining his new found Windclan speed with his life time of being around trees in Skyclan to run fast, leap high and attempt to close his claws around her hind legs and take her to the ground with him.

A force slammed into her side at top speed, and Willowdance could do nothing but screech in terror as she found her body being shoved off the tree. She suddenly found herself regretting having climbed so quickly as she was slammed into the ground at a high velocity, sending pain slicing through her body. She yowled out loud in pain, tears leaking from her eyes. She felt as if something in her body was a little out of place. Fortunately, she didn't land on her back, but rather her legs. Unfortunately, she could feel at least one of her legs wasn't quite right. She had no idea what it was, but the sheer pain sent her shuddering and crying.

When she shifted enough to see her assailant, she felt another tremor brought on by her tears and fear run through her body, which in turn only made the pain more unbearable. However, she still recognised Dawnhawk. More black than normal, but definitely Dawnhawk. She knew she had no hope of fighting back, especially since she could barely move without being assaulted by pain. If he wanted to kill her here and now, she could do nothing to stop him.

Putting her head back down, Willowdance shut her eyes, waiting for Dawnhawk to attack.

Dawnhawk ripped her right off of the tree and down they went. He landed on top of her with his right forepaw pinning her in pace at the shoulder. What he didn't expect was for her to cry out in pain the way she did. Confusion flashed across his face and he looked further down her body to see if something else was the cause. Her leg... Oh whoops... He thought to himself before he refocused his attention on her face. She had just accepted her fate it seemed, closing her eyes and bracing for an attack.

"Did Skyclan send you to come look for me? Are you hunting me all of the way out to Fourtrees now?" He growled. She wasn't a threat any longer, not with a leg injured like that. He wouldn't need to use his claws for this. He hadn't talked to or interacted much with Willowdance before... but now that he was closer...

She's actually kind of pretty.

When the attack she expected didn't come, Willowdance very carefully opened one eye so she could see Dawnhawk from her peripheral vision. Well, she said see, but it was more of glimpse the barest corner of a hair. Blame the position in which she got stuck on the ground for her inability to see anything properly.

Then, Dawnhawk asked a question, and Willowdance blinked in surprise. "No no no-I was here for a random walk and some time by myself! No one else from SkyClan was following last I checked, and I don't think anyone knows where you are." She guessed that if she was Dawnhawk, she would be anxious over this as well.

She didn't think much of Dawnhawk's not attacking her, instead puzzling over why he hadn't attacked yet.

Dawnhawk actually made sure to not put pressure on her leg. He stared into her eyes for even the slightest hint of deceit. Had there been any... any at all... he would have gone for her throat. After a moment, he was satisfied with her answer and took his claws off of her. "I'd escort you home but... well they'll kill me." He thought for a second and his tail tip twitched. With a sigh, he turned so his body was parallel to her's. "Stand up carefully and lean against me. I'll take you almost to the border but you're on your own after that." He had to be crazy for doing this. Absolutely insane. "I'm sure my sister will make your leg good again." Sister.... if he should even call her that. She'd been very vocal about her dislike and disownment of him. He ought to fully commit to disowning her as well.
