Chuckling to herself, Cherryblossom felt her paws slipping as Robinloft shook her from her back, and no time was wasted as she felt herself being pinned down. She popped back up to her paws when she was let up, and she nodded along with her Clanmate's words.
"Great job! We should absolutely spar again sometime!"

She turned and started towards the sidelines to watch, calling over her shoulder,
"Good luck in the next round!"

Batbite found herself knocked back by the force of Beecloud's weight, hissing in frustration as she swiftly pulled herself back to her paws. "You're - stronger than I expected," she admitted, then trying to turn his weight and size against him once again. She misjudged how much power she needed to put behind it, though, and her attempt to knock Beecloud over was weak at best.

The two cats grappled for several moments, each trying to secure their grip on the other. Thrushnose could feel the fur on her back rising despite her best efforts to keep it down, could feel every part of her straining to either fight or flee. Of course, she wouldn’t dare raise her claws—but, she realized, she could still use that feeling. With a low growl, she threw her weight forward. That gave her the upper hand. Four heartbeats later, her paws came down, and pinned the rogue flat on her back. Relief sparked in Thrushnose’s gut. The victory didn’t matter, really; whether she won or lost, it meant she wouldn’t be sparring with an Asylum cat anymore, and that was enough.

She stepped away, one careful paw at a time. What was she supposed to say? After everything Asylum had done to them—to her—she couldn't imagine complementing the rogue on the fight she’d put up. In the end, Thrushnose merely dipped her head to her opponent and backed off further.

Cedarheart smiled. Both her and Minkstream had pinned each other once, so she was excited to see hoe this turned out. Maybe this wouldn’t be that bad, after all. It was a basically a spar, and that was a normal thing. Those used to happen all the time even before the takeover. She tried to ignore their presence, pretending it was a normal day without them. She did it a lot, in all honesty, and it only worked sometimes. Anyways, her competitive nature let her blood race as she sparred with the deputy.

"Blame my pop," Beecloud laughed through his grunt of effort. His paws skidded backward in the dirt with Batbite's attempt to counter him as he barreled through her. She was losing steam, and losing it fast. He pushed backwards against the assault, driving the she-cat down with him until they were both taken off their paws. It was a war of tumbling and wrestling now.

The tom rolled around and stopped when Batbite was solidly underneath him. He fought to grab her scruff and end the battle, but was unable to quite get his grip right.

Minkstream grunted as Cedarheart asserted her hold, twisting to try and get her off-balance. The competition made his blood pump faster, racing through his veins and driving the frustrations of Asylum's takeover, the worries of leaf-bare - temporarily chasing all of it away as his breath came quick and sure, a smile pulling at his maw. His muscles thrummed, heartbeat in his ears, and he fought to pin the she-cat down, not daring to hold back.

After Asylum declared Shrikesong the winner, they told her and Robinloft that they would be fighting each other. The brown she-cat smiled at her clanmate. "May the best cat win," she said. She knew that Robinloft was probably a tough cat to fight against, since it was obvious that she had also won her battle. Once Robinloft was ready, the brown she-cat pounced at the other warrior, able to bring the she-cat down quickly. Of course, Shrikesong didn't expect to keep Robinloft pinned for long, since it was obvious that her clanmate still had a lot of energy left.

After receiving the information that she would be fighting against Shrikesong next, she looked uncertainly toward her next opponent. She knew that she had the upper hand, considering that she had been a warrior for far longer than Shrikesong had, but she was still partially out of breath. With a gulp she stepped forward, meeting Shrikesong's gaze with her own. A small smile formed on her face at her clanmate's greeting. "May the best cat win." She agreed.

Bracing herself for the next spar, she stepped backward and prepared for Shrikesong's attack. She expected something small like a swat or something, but she was surprised at Shrikesong to try pinning her at the very beginning of the spar. Of course, she went down, overwhelmed by her clanmate's weight. It was much more than that of Cherryblossom's, so she wasn't nearly as prepared. After a moment of struggling, she was able to squeeze from Shrikesong's grasp and she quickly jumped away. Readying herself, she built up energy and charged at Shrikesong before sliding beneath her to lightly bat at her underbelly, being careful to keep her claws sheathed.
