| Welcome to Mafia: Warrior Cat Edition! First, a quick explanation of how things work... - How Things Work:
The game starts on Day 1. You will be given the opportunity to get to know each other's characters, but daytime abilities and exiling will not function until Day 2. This exists so that nobody is immediately killed or exiled without a chance to play the game.
Each Day phase, and each Night phase, last for one real-time week.
During Night phases, if every player declares their action, the phase ends immediately and those actions are implemented.
During Day phases, if a player is exiled, the phase ends immediately and the exiled cat's role is revealed.
On Night 1, the Dark Forest and the Predator will strike. The Dark Forest collectively agree on a cat to kill, and the Predator kills independently.
Anywhere from zero to four cats can die, but most likely two.
Many roles have special abilities that can be used at Nighttime. To use these, simply send me a site PM telling me who (if anyone) you direct your ability towards. That action will take effect at the end of the Night.
Some roles also have special abilities that can be used at Daytime. To use these, send me a site PM telling me who (if anyone) you direct your ability towards, and that action will take effect immediately (or well, as soon as I see the PM).
Some roles have passive abilities: for example, an extra life, more voting power, or a very friendly-looking face. These do not need to be used actively, and will always be in effect.
On Day 2, the dead cats will have their roles revealed, investigative roles will receive information based on their ability, and the game truly begins. You have a week to select someone to exile; by the end of the week (or if, at any point, a majority - 51%+ - is reached), the cat with the most votes is exiled, and their role is revealed. If you die, you're welcome to make a death post if you like, but it can't reveal anything that hasn't already been revealed (so people can't use it for information).
You get the drill now, right?
The Dark Forest win if the number of alive Dark Forest cats is equal to or greater than the number of non-Dark Forest cats. Basically, they need to equal/outnumber the rest.
There are three Dark Forest cats.
The Predator wins if they are one of two cats left alive. Nice and simple.
There is one Predator.
The Survivor wins if alive by the end of the game. Also simple.
There is one Survivor.
The Clan Cats win if all threats to the Clan (i.e. the Dark Forest and the Predator) are killed or exiled.
There are seven Clan Cats.
Oh, and- don't share your role PM. You can tell people 'hey, I'm the Oracle, I see people's alignments', but you can't directly quote or screenshot the PM, that's cheating!
Also, don't talk about Mafia: Warrior Cat Edition outside of this thread. What happens in the camp stays in the camp, folks.
And stay in character (or as in character as you can be when your cat is actually a Dark Forest infiltrator - it's all for fun!).
Day 1 has begun! Good luck!
Night 1 will begin on Sunday 16th August. Until then, introduce your characters, get to know each other, and try and figure out who to trust! | Where was he?
Heronflight didn't recognize the place he was in. It looked like a clan camp, with all of the dens and a fresh-kill pile in the middle of it. But it's not RiverClan camp, he thought. It can't be ThunderClan's camp, either. It didn't even have stars like that of StarClan. He stared at the cats around him. He didn't know any of them, or at least he didn't think he knew any of them. Many of the cats he saw were just as confused to be here as he was. It was probably a jarring experience for any cat to be suddenly trapped here, with no sign of home. The gray tabby felt more powerful than he had ever felt before. Perhaps, if he found his way back home, he could find his mate and kits again. But he had to get home first. And he was sure that there was some sort of test that he had to pass or... something. Heronflight knew there was a reason why he was here.

| The surroundings were alike to a camp...And Shimmerpaw had no idea where she was. Looking around, she spotted other cats.
Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. The shy cat curled up on the ground, praying for no one to come up to her immediately. She recognised a few cats. Heronflight, for example. She also recognised a few other cats like Nettlefire-wasn't that the ThunderClan Deputy?

| Wolfpaw didn't know where she was. She was surrounded by cats she didn't know. She recognized some cats, like Nettlefire. Wolfpaw remembered the time when she was alone in the forest, when Rosepaw and Cherryblossom saved her and brought her to Thunderclan. She made the conclusion that the cats around her were from other clans. Maybe I'm at a gathering, she thought, having not been to a gathering yet. In that case Wolfpaw decided to make some friends. She scanned the crowd for someone her age, and her eyes landed on a white cat with black markings. Wolfpaw padded over to her and said "Hello there, I'm Wolfpaw of Thunderclan. Nice to meet you." She gave Shimmerpaw a friendly smile. ______________________________________

| Redfall didn’t care much for each passing day, but this was different. He didn’t wake up in his den, but some random one. Immediately walking out to survey the camp, he saw a few other cats, but no SkyClan cats. Great. Snorting, he turned around, finding a tree stump. He clambered on top of it, trying to figure out where he was. |

| Nightwolf was surpirsed that he was in a different camp. It certainly wasn't Riverclan camp thats for sure. "Huh where am I? Whose camp is this? ..... Does anyone wanna be friends?" The last part was just Nightwolf's friendliness coming in. Heronflight heard the black-and-white tom call out to nobody in particular. He was built like a warrior, which made him think that he was somewhat mature. It would be good if he chose to talk to at least one of the cats here. After all, he was probably going to be stuck for a long time. "I would like to be friends," the gray tabby replied. "My name's Heronflight of RiverClan." | Cedarheart woke up in a strange place, and ventured outside of her den curiously. She looked around, trying to see if she saw anyone familiar. Immediately, she spotted the Skyclan tom she had fought a while ago. She rolled her eyes. ”Great, you’re here.” He has insulted her and given her a few good scratches. She had rights to be angry. | Wolfpaw mewed to the apprentice, "Well then we can figure out together!" But then she heard a familiar voice behind her, but she couldn't figure out who's it was. Wolfpaw turned around and saw a Thunderclan warrior. It was the same one who teased Pinepaw that day when all the apprentices cleaned out their nest for bugs. "...Cedarheart? Do you know where everyone else is? Because I think we are lost. Are we lost?" she asked. Wolfpaw stood beside Shimmerpaw so Cedarheart could see her. "This is Shimmerpaw! | Heronflight looked at the warrior. A RiverClan warrior... Now that he mentioned it, he noticed his exceptionally sleek fur that was not present in many other clans. How could he be so blind? I must be losing my mind. "It's nice to meet you, Nightwolf," the experienced warrior said. | Nettlefire had no idea where she was or how she got there, neither of which were facts she was particularly pleased about.
But she did know some of the cats around her-- many of them looked vaguely familiar, like faces she might've spotted one or twice in the crowds at gatherings-- but a few were her clanmates, and she recognized them for sure.
"Hello, Cedarheart, Wolfpaw," she said, approaching them. Her voice was as calm and collected as ever, despite the fact that she hadn't the faintest clue what was happening. "I...suppose this is far from the most reassuring thing to hear from your clan's deputy, but...do you know why we are here?...Or where 'here' even is?" |
