Willowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

She was growing used to this process by now, becoming a sort of strange comfort to know things were getting better for Riverclan. "Let all cats old enough to swim, gather beneath Willow Branch for a clan meeting!" The deputy called out.

Willowkit bounced with excitement, ready to become an apprentice.

Stormbringer spotted the young kit, speaking up again. "Another kit as reached the age of six moons, and is ready to become an apprentice. Willowkit please come forward." The gray deputy waited for a moment for the she-kit to come forward. Once she had, Stormbringer spoke again. [color:dd9c=color=orchid]"Willowkit from this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Willowpaw. Your mentor will be Addershade. I hope he trains you well." The deputy said before jumping down from the branch and ending the ceremony.

Addershade approached his daughter, now also his apprentice. This would be the second of his own children he would be mentor to. And things had gone alright with Applepaw, so far-- the young tom was still alive, healthy, and here. Considering none of his previous apprentices could be said to possess all three of those traits, Addershade was willing to call that a win. He only hoped he'd be able to keep Willowpaw safe, too.
