Blind Trust (CLOSED for Peridot)

Ravenmist padded into the apprentices’ den, picking her way carefully around the few other young cats inside before reaching who was hopefully Redpaw. Her sense of smell rarely led her wrong, but she had awoken the wrong apprentice before.

Nudging the younger molly, she hissed in a low voice. “Redpaw, get up. We’re going out into the territory today.” The blind she-cat leaned back, anticipating Redpaw rising soon, and backed out of the den, making sure she could still be seen by the entrance.

Redpaw murmured and rolled over, sitting up slowly, shaking her head to dispel some of the sleepiness. She opened her eyes and stood, stepping around her fellow apprentices, and left the den. Once she was outside, she stretched and yawned, catching sight of Ravenmist sitting by the camp entrance. She padded over and mewed a quick greeting.
"Hi, Ravenmist! What are we going to do today?"
