New Life and New Hope (closed to Ash/Tansy, Pikachu,Peridot,and Dewleaf)

Peonyflower was only just padding into the nursery once again to lay down. Her belly was swollen with kits she knew would be coming any day now though she didn't expect it so soon. The she cat felt a coursing pain go through her and she crouched low for a moment panicked she had no idea what to do. Slowly  she made it to her nest and laid down. Through the pain she was feeling she called for her mate and medicine cat."G-Gorsefeather! Wolftrot!"she yowled in pain rather then called which was what she was trying to do.

Gorsefeather was sitting in the morning sunlight, tailed curled around himself as he enjoyed a thrush for breakfast. The medicine cat hardly got any rest as Leaf-Fall had come, and the slow decline of herbs began. He'd been out and about, looking for catmint and more tansy that he knew what to do with. But when Leafbare came, he'd be ready. Or that's what he hoped at least.

He was enjoying this brief reprieve when a piercing yowl from the nursery had jumped started him into action. The calico got up, racing over to the medicine cat den to pick up his prepared bundle of herbs. He gave one sniff while it was clamped in his jaws, checking he had the right herbs before running over.

"Which of one of you is it? Oh, Peonyflower." He meowed sympathetically, looking over at the pained queen. "Here." Gorsefeather placed down some borage, chervil, and ragweed, pushing it towards the queen. "Eat this, it'll help."

Wolftrot heard his mate's pained call and dropped what he was doing to take off towards the nursery, stopping in the entrance.
"I'm here, Peonyflower! Is it the kits?" he asked, trying not to panic. Panic would not help the situation, so he took a few deep breaths, trying to calm down.

Peonyflower looked to Gorsefeather in pain but as he pushed some herbs to her and told her toeat them,she did. She ate the herbs given to her.She looked to her mate who asked if it was the kits.She gave a small nodd of pain before she winced a little as a rather strong wave of pain passed through her.

"Now when you feel ready, I need you to push, Peonyflower." Gorsefeather wasn't too concerned for his niece, she was a strong she-cat, and looked like the kitting would go well. His quick feel of her stomach told him she'd be ready to push soon, and that there weren't that many kits that needed to be born. She'd be fine. "Soon you'll meet your kits, but for now, focus."

She listened as her uncle spoke before quietly she pushed when she felt she was supposed to. She gritted her teeth a little as she did. Soon a kit arrived and she gave a small breathe though it wasn't over yet.

The beautiful small Silverkit gave a feeble wail to announce her arrival. Her silver/grey spots that cover her rump already showing and her tiny white tail wriggled as she searched for the delicious smell from her mother.

Peonyflower saw the kit and began cleaning it as good as she could before another wave of pain passed through her and she winced and moved her head away. Soon after another and final kit was born.

The unnamed tom-kit gave a high pitched squeak and wriggled to his mother's belly, breathing in her sweet scent. He snuggled up against her, long whiskers tickling her.

Silverkit wiggled around until she was comfy in between her brother and mother.
